Diseased TV Tropes community

My litmus test for a site's autism level:

Do they have a page on scary closing logos?

Yes, they do.

(although, to be fair, some of those logos are a tiny bit creepy. Just a tiny bit, though)
Is it too optimistic to say that a lot of the nightmare fuel entries especially for shit like MLP only scared them as young children?

Given the fact that I brought up MLP yes it is

Speaking of pants shitting...

  • Played For Bow-Chicka-Wow-Wow: Age-play; for example, Bob wears an adult diaper and acts like a baby, and Alice cares for him, followed by sexual favors. (As always, this can be Fetish Fuel for some and Distilled High-Octane Squick for others.)

As if there wasn't another reason for tropers to be mocked. This sort of thing adds in to the autism of tropes aside from the likes of having pages for TGWTG, MLP, and even having fetish pages and useless trope pages.

I thought they'd exiled all Fetish Fuel shit to some other site for exactly this reason.

The fact that they kept that around instead of expunging it completely from the internet makes me cringe a little.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, at least Troper Tales is no longer hosted on TV Tropes, Wikia, Wikki, and even All The Tropes nuked that shit from orbit. And all the same save Wikia won't get near Fetish Fuel ever again.

I really hate the LGBT Fanbase trope thint whatever. It reeks of the site wanting brownie points-"look how progressive we are, talking about queers i mean perfectly normal people with a different lifestyle choice!" I mean, i just wonder why bother? Most people like a piece of fiction for similar reasons-cause it's good.
