i watched this guy years ago, but i never cared that much about him. i think jontron was the only normalboots creator i gave a fuck about. PBG was mediocrely okay and I'd watch him sometimes.

girard always felt like someone who was trying too hard to present a certain image and it veered into the soyboy aura i felt after the soy memes started.

Having only read page 1 of the thread, I'm firmly on gullible. The guy gets anxiety attacks from playing fucking FNAF or seems like he will collapse in tears if he disappoints his viewers by not doing EVERYTHING you can do in P5, I cannot for the life of me see the guy participating knowingly on fraud specially since he desperately wants to be liked. I wouldn't discount one of his legion of morbidly obese hanger ons did it though or at the very least, that they just thought it was "ok" to leave the money just "there".

Now lets see how the rest of the thread proves me wrong!

Just turns out I don't have social media or a platform where I could spill my spaguetti on how everything works and is.

Good on him for learning why conservatives NEVER talk about anything unless they have fuck you money or because that's how they make their living (though he dodged a bullet with that getting close to Sargon stage in his life).

Projared's attitude makes sense given he was sorta friends with the guy in the past and also has experienced being canceled himself for having a sex life and an insane ex-wife.

Like I think after things cleared up you had Peanutbuttergamer and others helping promote Projared again. Would've been better if they stood with him throughout that whole scandal, but they did come around in the end which probably means a bit to him.

Edit: As far as the Completionist is concerned, I'm guessing it's a mix of laziness and incompetence. If he runs the charity and also has some business account for his regular youtube 'career' then it may not have occurred to him to actually move the money over. Or maybe he thought it'd be a neat option to wait until a new tax year to transfer the money for the tax write off?

Verges on being criminally stupid, but it's still stupidity in the end (in my mind at least).

Watching the videos now and didn't see specifics mentioned in the thread yet, but the lies regarding their donation handling are very suspect.

  • The charity website claims to be funding the University of California San Francisco's Memory and Aging Research Center.
  • The website also includes an alleged quote from the UCSF dean of Medicine (David Kessler) thanking them for their donations.
  • David Kessler was fired from UCSF in 2007, while the charity was not registered until 2014.
  • In an email to the charity regarding these contradictions, Jirardi's brother responds by claiming that the donations were made off the books before the charity was created.
  • He also alleges that the UCSF failed to make sufficient research progress from their donations, so they cut the funding and became very selective, which is why they haven't donated any of their fundraising money yet, due to lack of research organizations that meet their standards (despite the website still claiming to be funding UCSF).
  • Finally, the email argues that because the charity has not been shut down by the IRS or DoJ yet everything they do is legal.

He's known since 2021. He continued to fundraise while knowing this issue existed. He is wrong. It doesn't matter whether he was taken for a ride by staff at Open Hand or any other nuance, unfortunately. The time for correction was when he was first made aware, and he failed. All his defenses are bullshit.

The damage to his credibility will be felt. Nobody escapes Mutahar accusing them of financial malfeasance or crimes without damage. The only person who could probably put an even bigger black mark on you is Coffeezilla. There's no way his audience won't hear about this and the facts at their core are indefensible.

Now I remember. This was one of the most spineless things I've ever seen and it happened right around me being "peaked" by Trannies. This wasn't some sometimes online associate - it was effectively his close friend, confidant, business partner and housemate. He deserted him completely due to wrong think. People like this are in my view the lowest of the low. He doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. I have no sympathy for him.

Edit: Seems I was wrong, they were never housemates.

As an Eurofag you learn to never trust people with Arabic names. Never. Even if they are middle-east Christians or Orthodoxs. They have in their culture that if they lie or con you it's your fault because you were stupid to believe them and they just move on without afterthoughts.
I have seen an Arabic family in front of me pleading that they couldn't pay their bills and needing more time, then without any shame answering a phone call with the latest, over expensive iphone. Priorities.
Since a few months I am looking for an used car for my girlfriend and if I see something interesting but the seller as an Arabic name I automatically block the ad. I know by experience that "working condition" for them means at least a dozen of hidden fails inside.
How the fuck can you trust them for charity...

Yeah he's still in it. It's him, Jesse Cox, some neckbeard named Alex who is a brain-fried california stoner(and is the fucking worst part of anything he's in), and Davis. Who is just some dude who is a diabetic and is generally alright. The later episodes have Girard dropping more and more dumb political shit. IIRC His dad is also stupid rich (like some surgeon or some shit) so he's got a free ride through everything.

There would be 0 expense if they transfered the money right away.
But they conveniently kept it as long as possible to siphon some fees from it.
At least 16% of the money is already lost and was not given to sick people like it should.

I'm so mad at this shit. I got a family member with sclerosis (MS) and charity fuckery just rubs me the wrong way.

Jobst and Goose are in two different countries. Never were housemates. Goose came out after his cancellation shit and stated that Jobst was one of the only persons who tried to help him through it.

Jobst released a video about all the accusations.

Seems I was wrong about being housemates. Goose can say he was one of the only to try and help him, and that may be true, but he certainly did not put serious skin in the game to defend his long time friend and ultimately bent a knee and let them "cancel" (socially lynch) him.
