The Completionist Is a Scammer, Apparently

When this news dropped yesterday I decided to actually look up who this was. I remember him appearing on Game Grumps years ago but never watched any of his content. Hes the guy that autistically bought every game off the 3ds eshop last year, and employs the tranny son of Halloween lady.

Anyways heres a report from reddit, at least his personal subreddit is letting dialogue occur.

this guy has always been scum. after what he did to Jontron, his business partner and Projarade you will understand that all the Completionist cares about, is looking as clean as possible while making as much money as possible.

but stealing charity money is something else. this Arab puts Jews to shame with his grift.

This is the part that bothers me. Why would they just take a random look into the taxes and legality of his charity? Surely there are THOUSANDS of other targets, but to target Jirard is too specific.
If I were to place a bet on WHO snitched, I bet its Greg Wilmot, the guy who threatened to sue Jirard unless he removed any video that had him in it. Why? Who knows, but its the only thing that makes sense to me. How else would they have known to go after the guy?

Edit: I should have added that I agree it's too random for them to dig into him specifically. Though, I don't think it's Greg only for the fact that, if it was Greg, why all of a sudden? He could have snitched anytime over so many years, so why now? I think he pissed someone else off.

Either way, as much as I think Jirard is a piece of shit, the very fact Muta and Carl coordinated this reveal instead of naturally allowing it to spread reeks of internal interference. SOMEONE, Greg, one of Jirard's "friends", the ghost of Jirard's mom, whoever ratted Jirard out.
There is no fucking way it was discovered naturally. Muta is a leech who feeds on drama, but Carl is the part that confuses me. Why him? He's an autist who talks about speedrunners, not a king-killer. Something about HOW they did this smells wrong. Jirard is a cunt who stole money, but I would wager that neither Muta or Carl are the heroes either.

I'm amazed it was covered up for so long. 10+ years is quite a bit of time.

He's likely fucked hard here. The FBI and IRS have cause to absolutely sodomize all involved parties in this. Full auditing by the IRS for tax fraud and potential criminal fraud issues all possible.

I'd be really curious if the fund was created to use as collateral for a big loan by one of the involved parties. This has been a trend in charity fraud the last few years and it would make sense why they've held the funds in a single account without any investment.

As a banker, thats like the absolute WORST thing you could do. A customer at my bank tried this and got buttraped by not only the IRS but the bank. Holy shit.
But with how retarded Jirard seems when it comes to money, I could see this being a thing.

This story is starting to expand. On my normie tier Twitter account that I don't post on and that I try to shield away from the autism I gobble up here, more less online people are weighing in. I'm seeing the opinion of Jirard is a retard/fucked up, but Mutahar and Karl Jacob are sensitizing the story. So I actually think Jirard will be fine online reputation wise in a month. Real life? I don't doubt for a second that someone, maybe even Keemstar from the looks of his Twitter, ratted on Jirard to the IRS.
Something I noticed is Mutahar is offended that anyone would criticize his coverage. When he did something similar to Ethan Klein years ago, Ethan called a retard and basically shamed him into kissing his feet.
Also because I brought it up and I think it is a good question to ask:
Why were Mutahar and Karl Jacobs looking into Jirard's taxes and charity to begin with? There is no way they came across it naturally. So did someone who used to work for Jirard tip them off?

Despite what happened with his ex wife, he's still a lefty conformist, he doesn't have mental framework to understand that his beliefs were the reason of his trouble, i doubt he even understands his beliefs, he's simply following the crowd.
Also, HE'S PROGRESSIVE, it's a given that he would engage in degenerate sexual activities, and so would everyone else who's with him on the same page.

Well, in hindsight, with the exception of did you know gaming, they were all basically the exact same content. Video game “reviews”

God am I glad the nearly 20 year life reviewer fed is finally dead. Even if now it’s evolved into a “let’s talk about the history of X” trend

I just caught that a majority of the people involved with the charity are "employed" family members.

Now I'm really curious if someone in the family was using the account as a slush fund. Especially since they all come from a rather wealthy LA family that always seemed to have money behind the scenes.

Aka: This is going to blow up. IGN is now reporting on it and I'm betting we'll see CNN/MSN soon.
