You have to keep in mind that these are mentally ill Women doing this to themselves. Sure, it makes no sense but these are people who aren't in a good mindset, which is the point I think Null is trying to make. Of course you aren't going to see a mentally well person mutilate themselves willingly. Those women are also groomed at a young age by people into thinking they need the surgery.

The FtMs who get the surgery almost always have past traumas that make them super messed-up( to be fair it isnt their fault). Subconsciously FtMs attempt to destroy what makes them feminine to prevent being victimized again, which is why so many FtMs are molestation victims. It's the same logic some of those super morbidly women use to justify being so fat.
