When it comes to anime girls I think it's just best to keep it simple: is the girl fully covered in fur instead of just having it on her animal bits? Then she's furry. There, all done.

I think it's fucking stupid to try and quantify. I don't think your porn preference indicates anything about who or what you want to fuck, because there's so much absurd shit out there and it's so easy to find that teenagers are becoming porn addicts with bizarre and grotesque fetishes. I'm a bit biased towards LagoVirt because he's willing to take a more controversial stance on the fandom and talk about a lot of things people either want to sweep under the rug or just not discuss because of being called out for double standards, kink shaming, etc.

He makes a very great point that a lot of people with a passing interest in the furry fandom or the art, is that you really have to carve out your own section and curate it; block the things and the people who make you uncomfortable and be up front about what you are and aren't interested in.

Is it creating an echo chamber? Absolutely. But it's also important for anything you are interested in, to cut out the noise and focus on the things you want to see and discuss. That doesn't mean ignoring the problems in any fandom/hobby/or interest, but it's also integral to separate the wheat from the chaff and distance oneself from the things you disagree with. It's not up to public places to police themselves for us, it's up to us to create our own boundaries.

and just because you enjoy anthro characters alongside other fictional races doesn't mean you have to be part of the furry fandom either; it all goes back to curating your interests.

Also, fuck zoophiles and pedos.

Porn addiction isn't jerking off to weird shit like a car. Porn addiction is when your porn consumption is negatively interfering with your life. When you handle your emotions by jerking off. When you cancel your plans in order to jerk off. When you can't get off to your significant other (because you need porn). When you handle stress by jerking off (all the time and not just occasionally). That's porn addiction. You can develop car fetishes from porn consumption as your tolerance to subjects evolves, but addiction is not a requirement to develop these fetishes. Lot of autists end up with weird fetishes without having porn addiction. They usually stick to those subjects for all of their life.

Wow bro, people that like feral porn might be attracted to animals? No way! It's almost like wanting to fuck something with animals traits (i.e. the entire furry fandom) is already zoophilic at its core.

I think it's been said before but Furries love to ignore the rampant deviancy in their community, but when it comes to stuff like racism they really try to save face and throw each other under a bus.
