This is interesting, and has me thinking a bit here.
I live close to one of the meme-tier lefty shitholes that comes up often in discussions, and as a result a lot of my friends are varying degrees of normie/lib/NPC regarding politics. Nothing too insufferable or cringe, thankfully doesn't come up often (especially not to me lmao), but the kind of people to unironically listen to NPR, maybe watch a segment on CNN, in 2020 some comments about "now finally the adults are back in charge over Drumpf", you get the idea.
More than once, different people I know have made off-hand comments on Biden that wouldn't be out of place in this thread. Nothing touching on corruption or scandals or his policies, exactly, but one might have actually used the phrase "senile retard". Until now it just amused me, but I'm starting to think back to when I first heard people in """polite""" company openly criticize Biden, when that line started being crossed. Your specific term, "self-reinforcing", might be particularly relevant especially with a full year to ramp up to the election itself.
That is probably why he is gonna run and win in 2028. Dude looks the part, has confidence in what he says (meaning he gives off that he right no matter what, you are the one who is wrong), does not back down, and does not take evidence as a reason to change. Low IQ and midwits will fall in line behind him.
I think @MrJokerRager posted this.

"We Can Finish It Here": US Senator Challenges Teamsters President To Fight During Congressional Hearing
Question how long you think they have been doctoring this one? And how low is the approval according to your experience? It is a bit more fundiemental than that. Biden was precariously close to crossing the 36% threshold when they began doctoring the numbers. They rose it a little above that then have held it static since.
The 36% threshold is an unofficial term denoting the point in polling where a candidate or political office holder becomes non-viable. Effectively its the point where public sentiment against them becomes self-reinforcing and impossible to improve. And it is the unofficial point where foreign leaders will cease dealing with that person and the nation they represent if that person is the highest office.
Essentially, it's the point where other countries get to stop pretending Biden was actually elected. And it's the point that his approval is too low to pretend to ignore it.
Soooo they have kept it right where it is in blatant violation of all historical precedence.
Oh, don't get it twisted nigga, I'm not wasting breath on the ones who won't have their minds changed. I have friends who enjoy actual discussion and want to take in information, and ones who enjoy crowing about the opinions they all share anyway, and thankfully the latter don't shove it into all the hobbies we share. Those same people will still say he's better than Trump... I heard it this weekend.
> Well what did Trump do that was so much better? I don't get why you like that idiot.
Nothing you show ill satisfy them either, it's like Yuri Bezemov went on about with complete demoralization.
Something something duelsThe senator would have won, the teamster is just a fat faggot hiding behind union tough guy bullshit.
Let two consenting adults fight, this should happen more in politics.

This actually I agree with I do think that's one of our strategiesTheir focus, really – America isn’t trying to fight to protect Ukraine. It’s fighting for the last Ukrainian to be exhausted in what they’d hoped would be depleting Russia’s military
In that case, someone should have thrown a chair at Sanders to make him shut the fuck upMake politics more like the WWE

The ballot deadline has already passed for half a dozen important swing states.
They're stuck with Biden for 2024 unless he dies and it goes to convention.
Which could happen because he looks and sounds worse by the day.
It is. You have two sides "fighting" each other at the behest of billionaires who stand to profit from everything they do.This is more like it. I wanna see other senators say "cash me outside" and shit. Make politics more like the WWE.

What I find interesting is the idea that Biden is so unappealing that criticism doesn't get emotionally dismissed outright. It's not "oh that's just Fox News propaganda" but instead a cope like "well Trump sucked too!", which says to me there's at least a subconscious acceptance that Biden is a poor prospect. I certainly expect that for 90% of people it won't morph into an evaluation of their political principles, but instead they'll keep that "well Biden was still better than Trump, he was the worst!" while backing whatever new D candidate shows up.
What I wonder is, if people get to that point AND Biden is the one on the ballot for 2024, do we see a real deflation in voter turnout? Maybe it's not so wild they're trying to lynch Trump with court cases, they might be hosed otherwise, throw away a few of your pawns and at least roll the dice.
Hey retard, as a FYI, don't cite the Constitution without thinking. Article 1 refers to the powers of the Legislature, not the Executive. Congress does have the right to suspend Habeas Corpus, as occurred in 1863. Lincoln, with his suspension in 1861, did not legally have the power. Famously, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Maryland ruled this and Lincoln just ignored it.From Article 1 Section 9
Damn shame it doesn't happen anymore!Something something duels
Might explain why things like the guy shooting up the Congressional baseball game where so drastically downplayed.
Any other President that went through 5 army commanders as Lincoln did in the span of 2 years would have at that point been hanged, drawned, and quartered. You cannot tell me Lincoln was able in the role of Commander in Chief.
