Crusades like DKF remind me of that. The main argument they're putting forward boils down to "if we can just revoke people's permission to voice negative thoughts, then those negative thoughts will go away and people will accept us".

In reality, though, it just does the exact opposite -- It inspires people to hate you who didn't feel that way before.

(Of course, people like Keffals and Elliott and most of the other big players don't actually want acceptance, they want to be seen as oppressed, so it just becomes a weird self-fulfilling prophecy for them.)

The forums have made no negative impact on brick face's career as it's simply a mirror reflecting on his behaviours.

It'll be more conducive for him to seek professional help to deal with his narcissism instead of harassing T1 and affiliates but that would require meeting with reality and understanding how much of a horrible person he is.
