Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

On one hand, the promptness with which they renewed it for a second season makes it seem like it was successful. On the other hand, would it really be that far fetched for a megacorp powered by a money printing machine and hopped up on sheer hubris to continuously press forward on a sunk cost in the hopes that it eventually gets traction? Epic games certainly did that with their ill-fated Steam "competitor" and Amazon is much bigger than them. Even consoomers I've talked to about RoP thought the CGI landscapes were the only memorable thing about it.
for the money they spent on it it can't possibly have been a success, i do think they are just burning money to not lose face now. But since its streaming thats also hard to measure . I don't think most people pay Prime subscriptions to watch their shitty show or the streaming at all but Amazon can always twist the narrative in their favor given how much of a black box it is, i don't think most people cancelled their Prime subscriptions over how much they hated RoP either because they still buy crap on Amazon with it.

IIRC, they didn't really "renew" it, it was supposed to have like 5 or 7 seasons from the very beginning. All they did was not cancel it, which they probably should have - but I'm glad they didn't, I'm still waiting for the scene where the fat negress of a dorf kween pulls out a boombox and starts twerking, I hear it didn't make it into S01.

Spending 4k in one month on Barbie dolls is INSANE, especially considering the average monthly wage is Macedonia is like $500

It's straight up that fucking meme "women wanting to show you something" except she couldn't pose in front of the object so she randomly inserted a picture of herself because the average TikTokker will keel over if they can't mug the camera every 5 minutes
(I didn't even know TikTok just straight up let you post photos with music backgrounds now)

Realistically tho, look at how rich this woman is, you know she's not earning 500$ a month
Hell I'd be shocked if she was even born and lived her whole life in Macedonia and isn't a rich immigrant, or has a duel citizenship or some offshore account somewhere else

probably not her money she is spending and she looks like another yacht girl on social media. She is sucking dick for those dolls
So is Macedonia known as being a country pretty girls immigrate to in order to get paid to do "favors" for some rich guy and then live in glamor on the cheap?
It's a shame, some of the most beautiful countries are poor European ones, those who still maintain many aspects of their culture but aren't usually huge tourism attractions, it's always a shame when one of them gets the India treatment

First off, don't. If you fail that, go to a nerd shop or target I guess, you need a video to tell you how to Consoom funko?
i haven't watched the video, but i'm guessing the gist of it is "how to acquire a worthless yet large 'starter collection' in order to really be allowed to call yourself a collector"
i noticed this is common with trendy collectors and hobby tourists, to try and get as many things early on to be able to say they collect, as opposed to actual passionate collectors who get stuff they actually love and want even if they start out with only 1 or 2 things

Here's some more Cinemasickness thumbnails. Nothing like paying your respects to WW2 vets in cheap Kohls graphic tees.

Depending on the show runner and creators, some shows have a contract for a second season right out the gate. They may plan for more, but the first two in these situations are usually guaranteed. This is why you tend to see a lot of shows stop at season 2, rather than seasons 1 or 3. By season 2 if the money isn't worth the effort you're gone. This is especially true with streaming productions now, Netflix in particular is notorious for it.

Disney is an outlier in that they're extra retarded with their money these days trying to desperately pull out of their death spiral. Or they gain good will with the first two seasons, then go back to their same bullshit the third.

The season 2 deadline would make a great deal of sense. Most of what I've heard indicates that the first season is supposed to be buildup and the second season is where entertaining things are supposed to finally happen. If that isn't the case, or it ends up being too little too late for audiences, then the whole thing is probably kaput.

Yeah how many popular shows (that ended up having longer runs, whether or not they were profitable is a moot point here) do you hear even fans say "The first season is ok, but the second one is when it gets good." I've heard it quite a bit from Star Trek TNG to Steven Universe. Some shows are great out the gate, but with the amount of world building required for some of them it takes a little time.

Unfortunately sometimes you end up with Lord of the Rings or the adult He-man and Velma shows that everyone almost universally hates, but they're under contract to stick it through. I have a feeling with how tight the big entertainment industry is about to get those two season contracts might be disappearing and they'll go the way of Asian shows, a lot of which are happy to only have 1 season and be over.

One thing I noticed is that's the Bank of America app. I know they have locations outside of America but I'm not sure if they have service in Macedonia so there's some possibilties:
1) American expat who lives in Macedonia
2) She took a generic image of the app she found on google

Most likely. I'm not putting myself thru that man lol. But you're probably right. It's strange though. Shouldn't you just buy what you like? What if I don't want the Marvel POP's, just one run? So corpratized man

Collectoring is oftentimes not about loving your own collection, but the social bigdickness that comes with having one in the first place, especially now in the era of the internet
Can you really call it a collection if you only have 1-2 valuable items? Well, yes, you can, but it doesn't LOOK like a collection, does it? If someone walks into your house they won't appreciate that you have a 'collection', it'll just look like you have one or two very specific items
When you're not actually passionate enough about the collection you really wanna kickstart that attention getting from the start, because that's all you're really working for

That, in my opinion, is one thing that separates bugpeople from actual human beings with a soul- they can't exist alone, with themselves, unobserved, loving what they love and being happy with what they do if it doesn't pass the approval of the collective
Talking with others about what you love is plenty of fun, but you have to be able to also enjoy the hobby itself, you have to be able to retain that love when left alone

I'm so angry that Carnivale got the "killed after 2 seasons" treatment but fucking Westworld didn't. The former was great from beginning to end and really cranked up the cool stuff in season 2 (but thankfully was able to at least finish up the first planned story arc w/Ben and Justin).

Westworld on the other hand had a phenomenal first season and went completely off the rails (in a bad way) in season 2 (and should have been killed then and there), but inexplicably it was allowed to stumble onto (at least) two more dreadful seasons. I don't know how it's still going.

It ain't fair, lads.

I’m kind of surprised as to how they’re able to boast about this in an un-ironic way.
I'm loving it.

Of course not pictured, the author's rants about how capitalism is bad.
On a site note if somebody is using "problematic" their entire post can be disregarded. lol

Wow, the legendary liberty ninja armor set . Only the chosen virgin would find the links to these items.
