The Completionist Is a Scammer, Apparently

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
i watched the completionist a lot, almost from when he started and stopped in the last few years....i don't think there's malicious intent....ive listened to this dude on a lot of streams, podcasts, etc. he's kind of mildly retarded, i literally do not think its a big leap to say he literally just forgot to do all the right legal shit

Retardation is not an excuse for being an asshole.

but apparently it was not important enough to either

1) find an actual way to spend the money raised in honour of her memory

or the one im more leaning to

2) abstain from leveraging your mothers corpse to steal money from pay pigs.
also if it was so important and about his mothers memory, why wouldn't he oversee it himself to make sure money was going somewhere rather than being burned on admin expenses and nothing else.
if i was doing something impotant in a relatives memory especially a parent or sibling i certainly wouldnt half ass it.

There’s no way Jirardi is just careless but innocent while his family is scamming without his knowledge. When he was questioned about the charity he immediately started panicking and throwing out contradictory and poorly thought out lies and excuses, his story constantly changing.

  • He thought the money had been donated, which is why he named all the orgs they donated to while shilling the foundation
  • He did know about it but only since 2021 which was only a year ago (???) and not enough time deal with the problem
  • Okay, so he did know about and lie about partner orgs after knowing, but he only said those names because they did plan on donating to them but charities don’t accept less than 6 figure donations so they had to hold onto the money until they had enough to be allowed to donate it (even though 650,000 is already 6 figures)
  • Actually he was just on his way to donate all the money the very same day he was confronted with all this, but now that videos are being made it would look suspicious to donate the money so he can’t anymore
  • Also they still don’t know anywhere good to donate, do the haters have any suggestions please?

Is it not the father who is in charge, seeing he is running the same scam with that golf event or whatever it was?

This is a family business. Of scammers.

He's the director, and his dad is the president.

I'm not trying to find an excuse for him, but if your dad said he'd handle it, you'd probably just believe him.

Since The Completionist has made no comment Mutahar has made a series of tweets in which he says he's contacting the Attorney General of the State of California.

Popular streamer Asmongold weighs in:

Karl Jobst sounds frustrated with all of his fans trying to hand wave away the facts with dumb copes.

Karl Jobst.JPG

Karl knows that all he needs to do is keep asking for proof of the money sitting in the bank account and that if Jirard can't post proof then he's fucked. The longer this goes on the more guilty Jirard looks. It's already been WAY too long, especially since we've no idea when the interview with Jirard, Karl and Mutahar was conducted.

Jirard knew that Mutahar and Karl were going to post their videos potentially weeks in advance and has had ages to make a post or make a video setting the record straight. He hasn't, and a lot of people are starting to think that he won't because the money is gone.

Jirard and the Khalil family are all wealthy. The Completionist channel, Super Beard Bros and all the other corpo gaming consoomer shit Jirard does with it's associated sponsors brings in a decent amount of money, enough to have 5 or so people on the payroll. He's been doing this for years.

Charles Khalil, Jirards father owns a trucking company and his sister Leila Khalil Lewis owns a successful marriage PR firm and has 80K Instagram followers.

There is no way that they needed to steal the $600k. They're all independently wealthy and their dad set them up in life already.

It's nothing but pure greed to steal from a charity set up to honor your dead mother when you don't even need the money.

The video takedown attempt should hard confirm guilt on Open Hand's part to anyone who was uncertain beforehand. You should always assume the worst of anyone who uses underhanded means to censor their critics.
To be fair, anyone can file a takedown request and use whatever name they want. I'm not saying it didn't happen, just that it could have been a random idiot trying to stir things up more, or a superfan of Jirards trying to "protect" him.

The silence from Jirard and the charity is deafening. I'm interested in seeing what kind of government involvement or attention this will get.
The big question is, Is the money still in the account? with everything filed the money is earmarked, presumably unspent. Though that's the surface-level public info these folks are letting us see. We easily could be dealing with the largest fraud scandal when it comes to influencers. I can smell a whole thread about this. If more info comes out from a potential investigation by litigators, that could be incredible.

I honestly wonder if the money was spent elsewhere. Even if the "intentions" were good. You don't just "forget" to spend 600k.

He is definitely panicking. This is going to sound morbid, but I imagine that at least one person in his family will end up dead before the trial even begins, provided it gets that far. He doesn't seem the type to commit suicide but you never know.

Now all that is needed is for the family to provide receipts showing proof the money is in the account. The fact that there is literally radio silence on their end is definitely a sign that the shit will hit the fan.

enough to have 5 or so people on the payroll

The other event that Open Hand has advertised on their site is the PBD West Convenience Cup Challenge (PBD West is the company Completionist's dad is in charge of)
That's a lot of spicy shit you shared. I never knew Jirard's family was that loaded, the fucker is very good at selling his "I just wub videogames UwU, I'm just like YOU!".
Projared was enough to get Continue? and Satchbag to jump ship I think.
Noooo, pleaaaase not Continue? and Satchbaaaag such heavy hitteeeeers....
I like the theory that another user had on here that the Khalil family are most likely fighting amongst themselves to try to find a fall guy since if they're all locked up then they're fucked but if they use someone as a fall guy and fight to get the least time possible then when that person gets out Jirard can still set them up for life since he's rich.
Seems certainly like it's a family racket, but I'm fascinated that they would fuck up so much since it sounds like it's easy enough to donate 10% and be clean and seeing how dear ol dad has his golf courses doing the same grift, they should have it down to the T.
The silence from Jirard and the charity is deafening.
Maybe he's aiming for a Nostalgia Critic strat of ignoring it till it goes away. Bold strategy seeing how the IRS will probably get involved, but lets see how it pans out.

Jokes aside, that silence is death, but staying quiet till you have your lawyer prepared discourse is for the best, sounds like he already fucked himself hard in the call with Mutahar and will be aiming to minimize more damage.

Its actually his father, he’s the president and the one in possession of the the financial books on the tax filings

And for people wondering why a family with as much money as the Khalil family has, and why they would do this, is not primarily because of getting more money, it’s because having a private foundation helps them avoid paying state and federal taxes on the money they have.

From my understanding on the situation, it's harder to file a takedown on a video for privacy specifically. Which is the important aspect of this takedown notice is.

Also, consider the fact Jirard is active on Discord, he's obviously aware of what's happening. A simple tweet saying "Hey, we are aware of the allegations being made against us about our charity, we are working on a full explanation for you but for now please be aware we didn't file the takedown notice" or some shit like that.

@Null hire me as your PR team, thanks.
