The Completionist Is a Scammer, Apparently

From my understanding on the situation, it's harder to file a takedown on a video for privacy specifically. Which is the important aspect of this takedown notice is.

Also, consider the fact Jirard is active on Discord, he's obviously aware of what's happening. A simple tweet saying "Hey, we are aware of the allegations being made against us about our charity, we are working on a full explanation for you but for now please be aware we didn't file the takedown notice" or some shit like that.

@Null hire me as your PR team, thanks.
We only got a few snippets of the call on Jobst's video. I'm willing to bet he said a lot more that Karl is waiting to drop in a future video and that probably explains the silence if he knows he has painted himself into a bunch of corners.

It's harder to be successful with a privacy strike, but it's not harder to file; anyone can file you just need a burner account and give them fake info.

Not saying the strike is or isn't fake

Oh, my mistake then, but still. It could or could not be them. I'm on the side of that they did file the notice.

Karl did say he was making another video so you're probably 100% correct on that one.

This is actually one of the rare cases where being silent is hurting him, but he has no choice. There is no logical reason for him not to address this at this point, with the exception that he knows he got caught red handed and now has to be muzzled by his lawyers.

His sycophant following is going to be in shambles when the holidays pass and nothing is said. They will come to the slow realization that they have been duped. It’s rather hilarious.

Exactly. It was too toxic for the nobodies (comparatively) to stick around with Normal Boots at that point, and the ProJared situation was nothing compared to this shit show.
And it's because ProJared did end up telling the truth as to what did happen and was being honest about it.

I found the LinkedIn for US Tournament Golf (the company Open Hand hired to help host the PBD West Convenience Cup) and they have a post thanking attendees for the 2023 cup. Said post features a link to the photos for the 2023 PBD Cup, two of which show that Jirard was in attendance. So Mr. "That's fucked up" not only hosted Indie Land but also attended another event raising funds for Open Hand in 2023.

It also begs the question of how much was spent hiring USTG, on raffle prizes, and hosting an event at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club (the venue where the tournament was hosted).

PBD West itself screams like a scam company. Reading its description and services, it looks like a shell company designed to launder money. They even tout partnering with “Canova Labs”, a “business intelligence program suite”, that has not actually produced anything in 3 years.

The more I dig into the Khalil family, the shadier it gets. This is wild.

It's funny the only spending broken out with a description in their 2022 filing was for the golf tourney. When I first saw it I even thought they just copied another non-profit's filing and didn't fix it (that happens a lot more often than you'd think).

$5k in expenses for such an event is peanuts.

That is interesting, the Khalil family’s practices are a time bomb waiting to explode. Unrelated but Charles Khalil also tried suing ExxonMobil in 2012 but the case was dismissed with prejudice in 2013 (with him having to pay his attorney’s fees).

How does this chart work? Are the "Golf Fundraiser Expenses" money they received as well as "Fundraising"? Since only "business expenses" is in the negative. How much did they actually make from this golf event?

I can't wait for a comfy long running thread in Lolcow & Lolcow LLP when the Khalil family gets investigated.

Power Buying Dealers is owned by Charles Khalil, it's interesting that That One Video Entertainment which is the LLC that Jirard owns has an office in the same building. The family seems pretty tight. There's no fucking way Jirard only found out about this in 2022.
