I am never going to be able to watch his show the same way again. You can definitely see the guy is a raging asshole with how he flips out and loses it over stupid shit on air. The curly headed substitute host and the bald guy are pretty good tho.

I quite like the show. I don't like Dore as a person, but I agree with quite a lot of his takes on things -- I guess because he's catering to the politically homeless.

But once I figured out how insecure he is, I began to realize that the other comedian he has on with him is really just there to serve the same role as Steff. Fake laughs, nods and agrees with him. It's kind of tragic, because he's always better informed and usually more insightful than Dore, but watch how carefully he treads around him. You'll never see him vocalize a disagreement, but you'll often see him shift his take to fit in with Jimmy -- even when it's retarded and ill-informed.

This probably isn't limited to Jimmy Dore though. I bet it's behaviour common to all 'celebrities' and the more minor a celebrity you are, the more insecure you probably are about it. It's just really incongruous when Jimmy tries to pull his leftist 'man of the people' 'just a pot smoking comedian making jokes in my garage' schtick. I think it's all just more visible on Dore's show because they're kind of winging the process of making TV so they haven't figured out all the little tips and tricks network celebs have to avoid looking like assholes on screen.

Then the crazy came back out and she got yeeted again. I would expect her back with a new sock if not already. There seems to be a couple of newish posters all fixated on the same general thing that our friend was fixated on. It strikes me as kind of odd there would be that much fixation on that particular person by multiple people because her channel was never particularly big and she was not really a fixture in the Rekietaverse.
