Chantal has even less room to talk than that. In the past, she claimed bio-dad was an alcoholic (whether that's true or not, she put that info out there; oh, and a food addict). When she claimed to be addicted to cocaine, she went running to her uncle for help. I assumed this was because he has struggled with addiction and would be sympathetic.

Chantal claimed to nearly OD on a mixture of cocaine, floor meth, and ecstasy. Both she and Peetz would refer to her as being "white trash" after this. She claimed to bring cocaine to Shannon's daughter's graduation party (i.e., transporting drugs cross-province), then castigated Shannon for doing coke at the daughter's graduation party. She drank to the point of vomitting, on stream. The only thing stopping her from indulging in narcotics is lack of access. But at least she's been forgiven.

I'll give Yaba credit. She handled Chantal's community post beautifully, which seemed to piss off Chantal even more. Which was beautiful.

I think she is losing her left eye to diabetic retinopahy. It looks like she has glaucoma from the diabetic retionpathy. That is causing a domino effect with her eyes which is now very visible. Depending on the level and type of damage, it can be irreversible. Corrections can be made to realign the eyes (maybe). The left eye moves slightly slower at times if you slow her down to 0.25 speed. Without a proper eye exam it isn't possible to confirm for certain which the dying eye is. This is genuinely eye death.
