It also did not accomplish half of the program goals of being a cheap reusable space plane that the defense department could use to retrieve and repair spy satellites or be a profitable commercial satellite launcher to partially fund NASA.

Saturn never had failures* because it was a overbuilt rocket so that nothing would go wrong and challenge the program, it never had a life outside of Apollo and was quickly scrapped after it.
