1 million people watching a video about a streamer and youtuber in a week and there's been NO growth to his live viewers. Pigroach may outlive everything but I hope he does drive out the last of his whales and get to the point theres only a hundred trolls watching him and he gets no 'support' for most streams.

His numbers in prestreams are up, he's bouncing over 500 since that video. Then it quickly goes back to ~300 once gameplay starts, because as always, Dave is a horrible streamer. And that bump isn't going to last long, if it's like previous stupid drama.

Are those real viewers though or are they bots? Months ago a whale was paying for hundreds of fake views. Even if they are real, from the 1 million viewers watching to get a bump of around 100-150 new people means 0.01% of viewers who saw that video checked out DSPs channel

Phil's terrible storytelling reminds me of one of my favorite Retsupurae videos, in which the guy playing the game takes 20 minutes to tell the viewers that he beat the last boss in Final Fantasy while making a sandwich.
What makes it even better is that he's telling the story while backtracking through a section of the game that he's already played.

I gotta ask why Dave and Linda didn't try for a second child? Dave seems like he is a fairly successful and smart guy with his resumee, so why the fuck did he decide to hope on a prayer his bloodline would continue through dearest Phillip? Surely Bridgeport wasn't a super expensive place to raise children in in the 80s and 90s, right?
Far as I'm aware he isn't registered at all in Washington and has never updated it. I doubt Phil has voted in any elections going back at least to 2012, maybe earlier.
Looks like that interview he was debating on doiing with Tom is gone now. Time for a pity segment about not getting a fair shot by anyone.oh no he didn't!

his money has also been coming in during the prestreams. he started yakuza at $90 and ended at like $116. mario rpg was at $88 after the prestream ending at $103. didn't catch the CoD numbers. also noticed 1mm hasn't been the top tipper in recent memory, guess all these pity parties have finally started to pay off.

Maybe they saw what Lil' Dave would become and just gave up on their own lineage, then put all the rest of their hope in his adopted cousin. You know, the former crackhead.
You also need to remember Linda just buys everything she sees, so Dave Sr might be strapped just from that. I don't think Linda worked.

Sometimes after reading threads that depress me and make me despise the state of the world, I come back to read DSP’s threads because it reminds me that, despite how much fucked our culture is and in spite of the world constantly spiraling ever downward, some things stay the same, like DSP being a fat unfunny money grubbing loser who is bad at video games. And that makes me feel a little better.

Dave Sr. is a puzzling one. He's had a good career, but has lived in a cramped duplex next to a Spic family in a crappy area his entire adult life. Apparently still working at 67. According to Phil, he's basically been an ATM for Linda who just buys shit on QVC all day. I suspect Daddy Dave may have his own weird story to tell.

I wonder that, too. I think he's stayed in that ghetto because the house has been paid off for a LONG time and he just has to pay the property taxes and insurance to keep a roof over his and Linda's head. Also, to make sure that Linda has her carton of Virginia Slims handy, just so not to hear that bitching when she doesn't have her smokes.
Honestly, I think Dave was what I call the "piece of furniture" in the Burnell household: just throw money at the situation and left the hell alone. He was there to provide, shut the fuck up, and basically be in the background. Again, he was the piece of furniture.
Dave seems like the kind of guy that he would rather be out fishing on the lake, beer cold, and enjoying his day away from the wife. As far as working, this is my retard mind thinking this, he's had to put off retirement because he's had to tap into his retirement fund to help Linda and Phil with their bullshit OR he does it to get out of the house....possibly, both.
Also, he (Phil) once let it slip on stream that he e-mailed his dad, because texting your parents is alien technology, that he was sick and he couldn't talk. Along with that his dad has a phone that doesn't use text messages...right, because even the dumbest phone nowadays can't receive text messages. Jesus, Phil.
I digress.
My point is this: Dave probably sticks around because he's either left to his own devices, throws money at Linda and Phil, get's left the hell alone, and he's comfortable in his life. Dude is accomplished in his career, has made a good working life for himself, and is content on where he is in life.

I don't know if any of you have seen what's going down between Cyraxx and his dad but it gives me hope that Dave would look at Phil the same way. I can't imagine being a father and seeing all the negetive shit about your kid and not pulling him aside and telling him to cut the shit. Upon being unable to, fucking disown him.

Rewatching the premiere of the DSP Reacks channel (in Feb 2023) and his hopeful announcement that his interview show "DSP Asks It" will have guests on "relatively, in the next couple of months". Warms my heart to know that never happened and not even the most desperate washed up internet celebrities ever touched that with a ten foot pole.
