Has Nick already forgotten that he was the one who laid down the gauntlet and pointed to $1 million as the golden number for Chuck Dixon's book?

It's only been a month. Does he want a fanbase who can't remember what he said a month ago? This is really bizarre.
Where’s your contribution to the zeitgeist Nick, Dick and Vito? Oh that’s right you’ve never made one and never will. Sucks to suck.

Well, remember, he also doesn't understand what the word "literally" means.

I know people think his "Literally Marvel" rant is dumb because of all the ways Eric July is not like Marvel, and that's true, but it's also dumb because it's not the correct usage of the word literally regardless of how July acts.

Shit has gotten so stupid that the Oxford English Dictionary has had to add it as an "informal" definition. I wish they'd just say "THAT'S NOT WHAT THE WORD MEANS, YOU STUPID FUCKS."

Oxford English Dictionary has had to add it as an "informal" definition.
Which is why we don't use that dictionairy. It'd be simple to add something along the lines of "informally it is used incorrectly..." bla bla bla bla.
Suck my dick "muh language evolves" faggots, yeah it does, but there are still rules and definitions. At least, for now.

This whole ordeal has made me really want Nick to try and write a comic himself. Not only because I think it'd be funny to see Nick finish before Vito ( :optimistic: ) but also just to see how much of his creative writing learning has stuck.
C'mon Nicky, show us all how it's really done! You could even team up with Dax, double team the creative process and show the world what real brainiac authors you two are!

Yeah I fucking hate that this happened I try very hard personally to avoid using it this way but because everyone I know does it it's easy to slip back into. If only "figuratively" was an easier word to just throw around like "literally" is.

Someone said something about "possibly faked" text messages or DMs asking someone else / another couple if they were interested; can someone point me to those?

The DM leaks were intended to hurt Faran. Nick was collateral. While the DM doesn't prove anything, it certainly corroborates with what has been established. The responses from Faran and Nick indicate that the DM is real, but "misunderstood".

The DM was released by Divinity who was feuding with Faran over her channel being struck. Faran claims the DMs were between her and "Fraser AKA NOVA" who sent them to Divinity. The DMs were posted March 1st 2023 and Faran released a statement confirming it's authenticity.

In the DM, Faran places the conversation with Nick at the night of the infamous drunk stream, which was in September 2022 (prior to the Hedonism II discovery in Nick's thread around November 2022).

It has also been established that others knew that Nick and Kayla were at a swinger locale during a livestream while he was on vacation (wearing his now infamous Jamaica shirt and verifiably in a Hedonism II room).

The three claims are that Kayla wants to swing, they went to swinger island, and Nick building a sex room. The DM is 2 for 3 in terms of evidence as we know that they went to Hedonism II and we have confirmation from Nick that he is actively trying to build a sex dungeon in his house.

Nick has been actively trying to build a sex dungeon:

Nick's response was that Faran "misunderstood" these things that he told her.

Those of you curious (or in need of a reminder) about Kayla's role in Nick's downfall, feel free to review these posts about what Kayla was up to in November 2022:

Also, Kayla posted her bottle in the butt pic before Nick did.

Sadly, I just checked, and Marriam-Webster (American English) does the same idiotic thing.

It's fucking annoying.

However, this a relatively minor feature in the sea of stupid that is his rant against Eric July. I just thought I'd mention it. The dumbest thing he did is saying the comic wouldn't break a mil and that many copies would be sitting unsold in July's wearhouse. I think that's what most people are rightfully gonna hammer him on.

Hope he thinks JuJu is worth it!

Correct, and I've no idea what to use at this point. Do I have to go back to ye olde printed dictionaries? Worst timeline.

Is he going to chimp out? Or just ignore the whole debacle. Perhaps the third option, gaslighting the audience?

At this point if Nick posted the you will never be a woman thing reality itself would break and mutate all troons over night just to prove him wrong. It's fucking bizarre just how wrong he always is. Don't let the idiots win.

As I said in the Vito thread, I think he should take out a restraining order and have the smelly fat fuck arrested if he keeps up with this. He's got cause to get one.

Like I get it, it would be funny if Riley caught a dozen rounds from July's 5.56, but there's serious legal risks to July if it came to that. Even in a state with extremely permissive self-defense law.

What's gross about this, in regards to Nick, is that he's celebrating and joking about this shit when, as a lawyer, he should really be discouraging Riley. Especially if he likes Riley.

But hey, Nick's a shit lawyer, and barely a lawyer at that, who loves JuJu dearly, so what can you expect?
EJ could easily use the "he needed to be clipped" defense.

Riley is bordering on stalking with this bullshit and he won't be sympathetic to a jury.

Strangely enough, I am 100% sure that years ago EVS has been saying that printing lots of extra copies is actually the smart move because not only you'll need it for damaged comics in shipping and you'll need to resend fresh ones to customers, you also want extra copies for future campaigns as you grow your business and new customers join and would need the earlier copies to start enjoying the stories so having extras to bundle with the new volumes is an obvious move.

But now that we all know EVS is super jealous of Eric and would like to see him fail, I wonder what EVS has said about the extra copies? Anyone know?

I think based on the tweet reply he made earlier, the second one is pretty clearly off the table.

I'm gonna go with a option 3: Gaslighting. It seems to be the thing he's done the most this past year.

Well that, and drinking. That one oughta go without saying though.

Dictionaries are supposed to be descriptive. They're a compilation of words as they're actually used.

The improper use goes back at least to 1863.

"literally, adv.
b. Used to indicate that the following word or phrase must be taken in its literal sense. Now often improperly used to indicate that some conventional metaphorical or hyperbolical phrase is to be taken in the strongest admissible sense. (So, e.g., in quot. 1863.)"

I think it's still improper but not noting its widespread use when it is part of the language, rightly or not, would be failing to do the job of a dictionary, which is to serve everyone from native speakers to people who don't know the language. So idiomatic and outright incorrect uses belong there.

That's even if anyone who uses it that way is literally a deformed hunchbacked retard with string warts and worms in his brain.

Bordering? He crossed over it long ago, specifically with the warehouse vandalism.

Taping money to a window isn't going to be seen as vandalism by most reasonable people.
Anything whatsoever that requires any effort to remove counts. Baked Alaska ended up prosecuted for fucking with a paper menorah. And there's the fact he was trespassing after already being told to knock it off by the police.

His entire demeanor in this is just nasty. You have to be a real piece of shit to be this invested in someone else’s possible failure. I don’t like comics at all and I’m thisclose go ordering everything from EJ’s catalogue just as a fuck you to these faggy busybodies.
