2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Hezbollah can't project offensively, just minor drones and ATGM near the border. They can however fuck Israel up in a defensive war just like they did in 2006. Hezbollah doesn't even want this conflict, they're just obliged to half halfheartedly participate because their propaganda will ring hollow otherwise. Its Hamas that wanted to fracture the detente that was started by Trump between Israel and the Saudi government, they've achieved this goal at the cost of getting Gaza turned into rubble.
Saudi are in constant proxy wars with Iran. If Israel can take Hamas off the board and pose more of a threat to Hezbollah then Saudi will be happy the the weakening of Iranian clients.

Another targeted assassination killed four people travelling in a car:

An additional airstrike on a house:
So far, a total of eight have been killed by IDF strike in Lebanon today.

The "Martyrs on the Road to Jerusalem" Expanded Universe just got a bit bigger with Hezbollah Iraq's new collab. Fadhel Almaksusi was killed in an American airstrike:

I prefer the original franchise's aspect ratio, though. I don't see how they're going to fit this one on a card.

Yeah, the new card sucks ass. I guess they could put it on a postcard size, or maybe a business card, but that's going to fuck up my binders.

Do we have more dead journos than IDF soldiers at this point? I heard there were an unconfirmed 60+ dead journos in Gaza alone, which makes me happy.

No matter who you hate more, kikes or sand niggers, I think we can all agree with journos getting the (exploding) rope.

Turns out one of them was Hamas's second-in-command in Lebanon, Khalil Kharaz:

I think the numbers are about even. Israel killed Ismail Haniyeh's grandson today, supposedly a "journalist" as well, even though no one seems to know what outlet he worked for. Maybe TheRalphRetort.com?

But that isn't what the Saudi want, they want Iran and Israel to keep beating on each other while they just sell billions of dollars of oil uncontested. They very much dislike conflict in the region because all of these conflicts never resolve and just spawn extra-national jihadist groups. The concern for them is that these same groups will eventually gain enough ground in KSA and depose the monarchy or at the very least, create a civil war that never ends.

I've seen a billion arguments as to why Hamas is bad but not very many as to why Israel is good.
It is an economically successful state that has more in common with all Western countries than any Muslim state.

Israel has turned a desert into a success story.

Israel is the West's only outpost in a region dominated by Muslims.

Go there on holiday after the war and you will see that it is a beautiful country.

It seems like a lot of the middle east was like that before democratically elected governments started getting overthrown. Israel has a bit of a leg up considering they've never been regime changed.

Amit Segal's Telegram. Haven't seen it anywhere else but he's pretty reliable. I can only think of two or so pics/videos he's published about the war that turned out to be misinfo in the end.

The IDF has succeeded in clearing out the debris and breaking into that tunnel below Shifa, so we can expect more footage:

Because they're backtracking on not negotiating anything but a complete surrender from Hamas.
I wasn't really a fan of a ceasefire in exchange for hostages but also giving them back Palestinian hostages ontop of that is just a terrible deal on our end.
I like how they are saying about how close hostage negotiations are when 1) they’ll mostly be dead 2) Israel’s strategical goal is the utter destruction of Hamas. I don’t see Hamas agreeing to return of hostages and complete unconditional.

This is cover for a full on assault in the future.
