God, take me back even further. EZBoards and insidetheweb forums, Usenet, angelfire and geocities. The era when the web felt magical, you never knew what you could stumble upon, and the web wasn't consolidated on FB, Instagram, Reddit, or Tiktok back then. Or the days when you could load up your Myspace with hilariously obnoxious CSS. You used to be able to say anything somewhere. Nowdays it's one big Walmart and the only thing you know you're allowed to do for certain is praise trannies.

Certainly, it was actually the first Half-Life game and I even played System Shock for the first time, but it was only for a short time because I didn’t want play until 2 a.m.

I unironically recommend playing in a well lit room. It's better for the eyes.

I sort of want to get into vintage computer hardware. AKA the stuff I grew up with. There are a few decent forums left but much of the newer emulation/FPGA/etc is on discord. And it's all retards and troons and troon retards.

Luckily I have plenty of house projects before I have time to play with the stuff again.

I'm no olympic athlete, I know this, but I recently spent a weekend out of town and even sleeping on a shitass pullout couch my back didn't hurt half as bad. Pretty much fully healed, just have to toughen the new skin. Gonna give it another day then start sticking it down into a jar of rice. Some chinky kungfu shit that evenly toughens skin

Went to the doc for what I thought was a minor flu and got some of the strongest antibiotics I've ever seen, feeling like shit even after the flu is gone, my liver feels like I've been doing jager shots mixed with drano.

Also I'm finally getting a couple grey hairs, far later than most dudes and thank god I'm not going bald.....but it still fucking sucks.
