Is there a clinical term for how DSP uses snorts, throat-clears, and burps to assert authority over his chat? He could basically do anything that someone could get LIMBed in for protesting about, but specifically being a gross loser seems pathological. He's talked about his post-nasal drip, but we also know he can control it because he didn't do it at all during the bankruptcy hearing and the Sidescrollers interview.

Arrogance.

I guess you could call it a narcissistic tick, but that's a stretch.

DSP has really fucked up by making an enemy out of Keemstar. The guy made a fortune off of stupid internet drama and now openly talks about how he uses his wealth to fund things that amuses him.

The Leanna tell all is basically guaranteed to happen at some point.

I love how since one of the main criticisms leveled at him in the TT doc was he doesn't listen to what his fans say, Phil has been very obviously going out of his way to bring up how often he listens to his audience.

This week, after careful deliberation with his chat the he's decided that he's going to be kind and give back to the community by taking a shot of gin for each cumulative $100 he makes during his Thanksgiving marathon, rather than the traditional shot per individual $100+ tip.

Wow, a truly gracious and benevolent act from Phil Burnell. The detractors really do have him all wrong.

I reckon DSPReacts was a bit of a test to see how views, money and ad revenue went.

Now that he knows that he won't make much ad revenue from watching Youtube videos he'll just keep playing more and more boring games.

You know its funny you say that. Because I seem to recall the jump to direct capture, it was met with a lot of excuses. One of my favorites about how big youtubers use capture cards. But Phil is different. Phil is special. And boy howdy if that doesn't just sound familiar.

You know what. I agree with Phil. Turkey Tom should change his title to Decade of Decline. Because failure implies he ever tried. And well, lets be honest. The last time that happened was him getting direct capture. Which unless I am horribly off base. Has to be pushing about 10 years. So ten whole years of doing the same shit over and over again and it doing worse and worse. Thats a decline. And not failure. He already failed. He failed when whoever that was uttered the words "look at him now".

The sad part? This is him trying his very very best. This is the pinnacle of his personal potential as a content creator, his magnum opus of creativity. The well is dry and probably has been for a while, he legitimately needs his audience to teach him how to entertain them enough to "get that bag". The things he refuses to do is more likely because he just can't grasp how people would find entertainment value in it and you can see how he processes that when he talks about other creators. The idea that people are animated and charismatic boggles his mind so he calls them muppets, he's obsessed with the idea of production quality and the notoriety of the video game being the draw for audiences, he is convinced wearing clothes or eating food and drinking alcohol is rewarding to his audience.

I personally blame his cavalcade of sycophantic retards. Not wholly mind you, its still up to him to not do less than the bare minimum. But it is astounding that he even has any whales. Although in this modern age of DSP how many yes men are enough? Like would he ever change his act if One Minute Man withheld money? All of them but One Minute Man? Would literally all of them leaving even light a fire under his ass? Optimistic as hell I know, but I do really wonder.

He tried making faces like Pewdiepie. He tried a greenscreen and costumes like Angry Joe. He tried reviewing games and it only worked once because of a clickbait title. Tried editing videos, tried TIHYDP, tried reaction videos and the list goes on and on.

The only thing that works for him is self-embarrasement and drama. Like a good ole' lolcow.

The only thing that works for him is self-embarrasement and drama. Like a good ole' lolcow.

The one thing he never tried was actually paying for an editor or investing real time in learning editing. His KOgaming reviews were rather plain and he didn't even use correct footage to underscore his points. And the Greenscreen was only tested but neverreally used (mosly he made one or two animations for tips / cheers on Twitch). The rest was mostly used by trolls
