This dumb bitch was in way, way over her head. Among the many issues:
1) She's a state-level judge making determinations about FEDERAL constitution issues. (Thats for Federal courts)
2) She ultimately decided that, as a matter of law - not fact - that Trump remains on the ballot, which begs the question of why the FUCK would you hold a five day hearing with evidence and witnesses and whatnot when it was absolutely, positively not required?
3) Why would you, when making a determination of law that invalidates the reason for your dumbass hearing, dedicate a hundred pages of judicial dicta (dicta has no legal binding power, its just errata bullshit that is not used for precedent or law) to the 'findings' of a hearing that didn't matter and never should have been held when a five-page opinion would have done the job?

Oh, the Colorado Supreme Court (CSC) is absolutely going to make a sheep-fuck of this case like a horny farmboy with hook-hands, I have no doubt. And I am sure of this for a number of reasons:
1) First, prior to the hearing Trump's team tried to appeal a number of decisions, including ones that were dispositive (they would have ended the case then and there) as well as issues that would have affected the bullshit hearing. The CSC rejected those attempts and said "do them all after the trial - and bundle them all together in one motion." Both parts of this are retarded, since generally dispositve appeals should stay the trial because you can't undo the expense and time of a trial, but its Trump so get fucked, right. Secondly, there were at least 11 issues, each one of which should be a separate motion instead of being omnibus like that.
2) Despite the fact that the CSC basically engineered the situation where they will have a baker's dozen worth of appeal issues that they would (theoretically, if they were actual justices and not partisan hacks) need to carefully consider at length all packed into one mega-motion, the partisan operatives have decided that they need to have an accelerated schedule on these multifaceted legal issues, many of which are cases of first impression. (First impression meaning that it is a novel legal issue with no precedent to guide the Court, cases of first impression are considered some of the most daunting tasks for any judge as they are in unexplored territory and should, theoretically, tread very carefully and extremely deliberately.) This is because, as you note, they are TDS crazed political hacks and don't give a fuck about the law except as a means to power.
3) Despite the fact that they set up a massive omnibus issue with over a dozen causes of action, many of them issues of first impression, the CSC has decided that Trump's reasonable request for an expansion of the page limits of motions is bullshit. "Fuck you, Trump, fit thirteen complex appeal motions in the page count designed for one motion, even though we forced you into this situation!" This is because, as you note, they are TDS crazed political hacks and don't give a fuck about the law except as a means to power.

It all screams that they are champing at the bit to strike Trump off the ballot and also try to legitimize the findings that he's an insurrectionist.
