Elliot's already going to be feeling heat from his tech industry peers. There's an identifiable libertarian streak running through many, especially among the SV and startup crowds. They're generally receptive to the plight of trans people, but not at the expense of freedom of speech. The good news is that the harder Elliot goes the more people will notice.
