I feel like Rick has a sort of sunk cost fallacy relationship with Elon Musk's X. He genuinely thinks its a keystone in his career, and I think he knows at some lower level if he were to ban evade, or move away, none of his followers would care to find him again and his illusion of a career would be ruined.
I don’t remember this “evidence” being very compelling. Neither Pat nor Torswats (a literal criminal) are reliable narrators. It’s possible someone paid Torswats to say something like that, and it’s possible deadbeat Pat didn’t pay his bill and it pissed off Torswats.
