Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has once again vowed that the United States would flatten The Bahamas if it ever fired rockets on Florida.

During a campaign event Charles City, Iowa, over the weekend, he said, “Can you imagine just after our 9/11, if three weeks later, people were demanding that we had a cease-fire against al-Qaeda and the Taliban?

“We would never have done that. And I think to myself as Governor of Florida, if we had, if someone in The Bahamas was

launching missiles into Fort Lauderdale, we would not accept that for a minute.

“We would go in and we would flatten them in no time certain.

“And yet Israel is supposed to just live there with this existential threat?”

On October 7, 2023, Hamas carried out a surprise attack in Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking 240 hostages. Israel swiftly responded and carried out massive bombing campaigns and a ground invasion, killing more than 11,000 Palestinians.

This is the second time DeSantis, who is seeking the Republican nomination to run for US president in 2024, has made the remark.

During a campaign event earlier this month, he made a similar comment.

In response to his initial comments, the US Embassy in Nassau said that it “regrets” if DeSantis’ comments suggest anything other than a close relationship between the US and The Bahamas.

“The Bahamas and the United States enjoy an enduring and unique partnership. Charge [d’Affairs Usha] Pitts regrets if DeSantis’ comments suggested anything other than a close alliance between our two democratic nations,” the US Embassy said in a statement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, said it exchanged diplomatic notes with the US embassy and sought clarification on the context of DeSantis’ remarks.

“Can you imagine just after our 9/11, if three weeks later, people were demanding that we had a cease-fire against al-Qaeda and the Taliban?"
How about if after 9/11 people were demanding that we had a ceasefire against Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi army?

I wonder how much longer we'll have to watch supposedly "based" Republicans absolutely grovel at the feet of the almighty Zionist

“And yet Israel is supposed to just live there with this existential threat?”
Well if the government of the Bahamas was launching missiles because the Governor of Florida and its legislature worked their asses off to install a rabid anti-Floridaman government in the hopes that, due to its anti-Florida extremism, the international community would never recognize the Bahamas as a nation, then I'd expect there to be more questions asked of and a whole heaping helping of the blame placed upon the aforementioned governor and their cronies long before pressing the magic "flatten the Bahamas" button.

“Can you imagine just after our 9/11, if three weeks later, people were demanding that we had a cease-fire against al-Qaeda and the Taliban?"
No one with half a brain is surprised by Israel's response, but the US sure as fuck wouldn't get Israel's help if the Bahamas launched rockets at Florida so why the fuck should the US help Israel??

Let the kikes and sand niggers kill each other in peace all fucking ready.

And the kvetching continues. Muzzies stabbing and bombing Europeans and Americans? Media is asleep and calls you racist. Israel gets a bloody nose? Now its roused. Now its a problem!

To see who rules over you etc.

Of all the timelines I could've landed in, how did I end up in the one where the Bahamian Missile Crisis was a thing?!
Someone messed with the Chronosphere and now we're in the Command and Conquer Generals Timeline. Except with the twist that Globohomo/US is horribly incompetent, the GLA doesn't have subterrain tech, and China is an alliance made up of different countries.
