Speaking of all of this, Asmongold has, of course, latched on to the drama, making one of the most pathetic videos I have seen in a long time.

In this video, he constantly gives the most soft, cowardly, refusing-to-give-any-real-criticism takes ever. This faggot is only "brave" and "outspoken" when he's whining over mega-corporations like Blizzard.

What is interesting though is commenters are actually calling him out for this.

Cr1TiKaL's take was just his usual take, that being the most normie, average opinion ever, pretty much just regurgitating whatever he hears the general public saying about it. You could read any reply on a thread about it on Reddit and you will have gotten the jist of his video.
I didn't get that impression at all.
Critikal says himself that the $28 price point doesn't seem justified, and that shitting on her own audience is a terrible look when they're meant to be the target consumer-base. Meanwhile, the replies to the initial drama have a lot of redditors willing to justify the obscene cost of the product and argue that Keemstar, xQc and their incel audience are spreading misinfo about her product being a ripoff. These are clearly two different stances on the matter.

Yeah your right, I jumped to conclusions by just skimming the video after watching Asmons, sorry.

I hate this fucking professional neet faggot giving out his opinion when he has no actual real life experience at anything, and every single one of his fans is a completely brain dead moron who do nothing but ape his room temperature takes on everything.

He plays it a little differently, but he's pretty much another Moist. They're not gonna attack a fellow streamer/content creator, and not because they're afraid of her and her fans, but because Twitch and sponsorships are watching. You could have her knife a dude on camera and say her full name while looking into it, and it'd still be "Well, she might have a good explanation on why she did it." I am seeing a lot of fellow female streamers do the whole "You people pick on her a lot while people like XQC and Sneako do horrible shit."

Also because Asmon is owned by a talent agency/venture capital firm:

He is owned and managed by this man:

Asmon's essentially a wagie now, and wagies aren't allowed to mess with the money

Personally, I find the concept of “selling out” to be pretentious hipster shit, used as a coping mechanism for groups that aren't good enough to make it big. Doesn't mean that doing a Fortnite Tie-In isn't lame, but just having larger audiences doesn't make you bad.
i think of sellouts as people preaching what they believe in but in reality, are just being a mouth-piece to whatever corporation that feeds them what to say to have the masses think/react a certain way. the best part is them denying being paid off in the first place which is a lie of course.

Here I was thinking he was some sort of boss with his One True King thing... well, that's different.
From my baseline knowledge of working around talent agencies in the past (different sector), my 2 cents is that Night probably has very little involvement with OTK, if any, for a few different reasons. The point still stands though that it's pretty clear that Asmon has big daddy Night to consider when giving his "hot takes" and he knows the line to toe and definitely won't cross it.

95% sure OTK is largely it's own thing. Talent agencies sign specific talent for specific purposes and focus on their signee's own career and projects because that's what's valuable to them. It's the reason why other people in OTK are and can be signed to different talent agencies, like Nmplol being signed to UTA (United Talent Agency). If Night was the one bankrolling OTK directly, I'd assume they'd want the other high-value creators under the same umbrella as Asmon.

Take Dream for instance, who is also signed to Night. They're probably the ones who gave the green light to his shitty tours and helped find venues and set all that up. I feel like a content org with so many other shareholders and players is a completely different beast.

makes you wonder where the fuck are the parents at that point.
Remember all the people giving tablets to toddlers?

Yeah, turns out "ipad parenting" backfired a bit.

On one hand Copyright is gay.

On the other if I wanted to watch a entire anime on a stream with zero permission, I'd be banished in 2.4 seconds. Eat a bag of dicks with your illegal immigrant maids French fag

Youtube copyright system is fucked and is usually a way for companies to bully the little guy, but every once in a blue moon its faggotry effects someone who deserves it.

Probably nothing more than a flash in the pan incident that'll be over by week's end, but, hey, could get a chimpout over it. We take those.
