I’m glad you beat me to the punch, because even Kwite managed to get involved in this:

The funny thing is that I didn’t know that was even Kwite until I saw the hoodie of the avatar and thought, “Wow, he still exists and even manages to get a better like to ratio than a Kick streamer who flexes about nothing for a living?”

I think the really interesting part of this is not seeing how XQC reacts. He’s a retard, we know what his reaction will be to being criticized. What’s interesting to me is the people who watch him trying to justify profiting off of reacting to war content in such a boring non informative way. If you go to the comment section of the videos he’s made you find a circlejerk of people saying it’s actually the critics who are wrong.

His defense in some of the videos I watched (which I barely watched due to not being able to handle his voice) is he sees people complain about him never using his large following to educate, so as a result he watched these videos to educate himself and his audience. The thing is is we know it’s bullshit. I guess it’s just a neat little bonus that he gets tens of thousands of dollars from doing said political reaction content. If you’re going to react and be a leech, fine. But don’t act like you’re watching bombs being dropped for the sake of “education”. Own up to the fact that you’re doing it for money and you don’t give a fuck what other people think.

His fan base seems to ignore the main influence behind these attempts to bring awareness to a bigger issue. He’s not doing it because he really cares, he’s doing it because shekels. It’s just very disheartening to see that so many people take a bumbling retard’s word at face value instead of thinking that maybe, just maybe the hyper consoomer 20 something with no life skills is only interested in material gain and money?

xQc occupies the same area the Paul brothers, Critikal,Hasan do. They are just to massive to fail especially on a platform like twitch. I think twitch operates alot on momentum. Unless you have a massive fuck up you will constantly be at the top.

I think it's why a lot of YouTubers switched over. YouTubers live or die mostly by the mythical "Algorithm" which changes randomly plus YouTube's habit of vague rule changes out of now where. Where as twitch works on a ranked/linked recommendation system while also having draconian but less vague rules that you can break if you are a top earner.

Cr1TiKaL won’t fall anytime soon. He has mastered the ability to consistently say the most generic normie opinion every situation. He has never had a “hot take”, and when he supposedly does it’s something literally everyone agrees with. Perfectly appeals to the robot, retarded, porn addict humored, YouTube commenter audience.

I’ve said this before, but Hasan has the possibility to fall but it will probably take a while. It will only happen if he does something bad enough that even his curated, yes-men supporters turn on him.

xQc is falling, however. He keeps doing this shit and more and more people are turning on him. As long as he keeps doing this, he will completely loose the support of everyone except his die-hard fans.

I would like to preface all my posts relating to Asmongold in this thread by noting that I am a A-Log for him. I’ll admit it.

Something about the way he smugly sits their in his shitty room while spitting out the worst takes ever and lecturing other people about why they are losers while living in a fucking pigsty makes me genuinely angry like no other cow does.

I feel xqc and others are this generation's equivalent of shitheads like paris hilton and the kardashians were for millennials, people who are only famous for being famous, tho those were born rich while I've no idea if xqc had any money before doing this.

But my point is this is the same kind of public, dumb shallow people.
t’s just very disheartening to see that so many people take a bumbling retard’s word at face value instead of thinking that maybe, just maybe the hyper consoomer 20 something with no life skills is only interested in material gain and money?
Maybe their viewers are also like that? all the zoomers I saw falling for cryptoscams during the quarantine were exactly like that, no skills and only wanted money.
xQc is falling, however.
Any metrics? don't give me hope.

Yeah no, give me a TL;DW.

From what I did see I would say burning money and flexing is not why everybody hates streamers, in fact I'll argue most people, that is zoomers, like them, and they like this shit because they are the flex culture generation, the generation that thinks that musicians and games having corpo sponsors and tie-ins means they are better and not complete sellouts, the generation that bullies their friends for not spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on game skins, who will bully and ostracize a kid for not having an iPhone.

Personally, I find the concept of “selling out” to be pretentious hipster shit, used as a coping mechanism for groups that aren't good enough to make it big. Doesn't mean that doing a Fortnite Tie-In isn't lame, but just having larger audiences doesn't make you bad.

As for Hasan and xQc, their spendthrift habits probably do make people hate them since they don't even do anything particularly creative as streamers, mostly just making stupid faces while watching someone else's content when they don't outright leave the room and let a video play unattended. I'd be pretty pissed at the guy raking in money just for watching somebody else's stuff without the slightest ounce of creative input while you are making next to nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Because that's the hipster definition of selling out and hipsters weren't good enough for composting material. I'm using the original 90's definition which is being like rage against the machine who pretend to be anti-system but they cry and shit themselves about piracy, charge out the ass for tickets and have corpo sponsors.

You can't build a career about pretending to be a rebel only to become a complete corpo whore like those fucks, or hasan, and still pretend you're not a sellout.

Nah their fans love that shit, in the case of hasan these are the losers who are completely okay with the idea of a communist elite (nomenklatura) living like kings because they believe that they will be part of that elite and not the fuckers digging for potatoes in the fields, or the ones getting the bullet after the revolution.

But again flex culture is a thing, is why zoomers fall for all get-rich-quick schemes far more than millenials or genx does (boomers don't count since their brains are mush by now).
Hasan would literally kill himself if this was a thing.
"NOOOOOO YOU CAN'T ENFORCE SOCIALISM NOW THAT I'M RICH! YOU CAN'T TAX ME TO 70% LIKE FDR DID! NOOOOOOOOO!"

While I will agree with Critikal, I have zero doubt that neither Hasan nor xQc will fall off, at least anytime soon. Parasociality is a hell of a drug, and those two are master peddlers.

Sadly you might be right. Hasan’s personality cult knows no bounds, and xQc’s audience is just plain retarded.

Guess who is selling fake Costco re-branded cookies to her followers?
Charlie caught wind of the clip and is now stoking the flames:
Speaking of all of this, Asmongold has, of course, latched on to the drama, making one of the most pathetic videos I have seen in a long time.

In this video, he constantly gives the most soft, cowardly, refusing-to-give-any-real-criticism takes ever. This faggot is only "brave" and "outspoken" when he's whining over mega-corporations like Blizzard.

What is interesting though is commenters are actually calling him out for this.

All "React" content (stealing from smaller content creators) is grift, no surprise that a grifter would swoop in to defend a fellow grifter from criticism of her grift.
