That's very interesting, since the calculator only drops it to 2400cal/day if the weight is set to 170, which is still 500 more than what he claims to need.
However, his claim of needing 500 fewer is exactly what the alcohol calculator mentions at the top. If you plan to lose weight, you have to eat 500 fewer than you use in a day. He might actually be trying to lose weight so he chose the "alcoholic anorexic" route. That's not what we meant by "AA" Nick, not surprising he fucked that up too.

Something else in Nick’s rant about (most likely) Legal Mindset stood out to me more: his repeated statements that anyone who doesn’t love his show doesn’t have to watch it (fair) and can fuck off and die (paraphrase, but he did say the fuck off part followed by wishing them ill IIRC).

I’m used to creators of/contributors to controversial shows — like Stern and the Married With Children cast when that was considered the height of public degeneracy — telling people “If you don’t like it, turn the channel. No hard feelings, just don’t try to stop others from watching.”

But Nick has to go hard with the condemnation of anyone who doesn’t like his show.

Which isn’t about people not liking his show, but people who used to enjoy it being open about the fact that his shift from law topics to his marriage’s sexual escapades made them tap out. How dare anyone have anything to say that isn’t undiluted praise?

I just watched Legal Mindset's most recent Locals stream from 11/14/2023 (not sure how Locals works and if he has done others since this one but decided to keep this one public), and at about 6:25 he discusses the drama with Rekieta by saying the way you stop a fire is by depriving it of oxygen, so he isn't going to give it any more attention. He also goes on to say that he'll probably decline an invite onto Rekieta's show because it would give it oxygen and would allow other people to continue the beef and that he is done discussing it, because as a man he keeps his word. He says Rekieta's argument was a strawman, but that they are friends and have different styles. He also manages to get in one jab a little bit later to say he is in Bangkok doing work, and that he enjoys being an active attorney and not just a YouTube attorney.
