Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

Here's a sideshow act, another woman who begged Dr. Spark to mutilate her.

After Taylah had her second surgery, mom made a post about how she was excited to introduce a new girl named Bianca Jaeschke to the Church of Dr. Spark. She and Taylah initially met on facebook and Bianca let Taylah know about a compliant general practitioner willing to diagnose spoonie illnesses. Taylah's mom proudly crowed that she's the one who taught this man of medicine about MALS and got Taylah's preliminary diagnosis of it before she saw Dr. Spark.

Bianca is the same age as Taylah and also from Melbourne, Victoria. She's another obvious ED case (or at least starving herself for medical attention) who whips out body checks on social media, but nowhere near as much as Taylah did. I can't find anywhere she was posting them although a few look like they were posted on Snapchat, but she reposts them sometimes in reels. Not much in the way of background here. A quick google of the name gives us a pinterest where we learn she was a dancer. In 2010 she posted about cross country running on Facebook. That’s about it.

Until 2019 when she suddenly posts about POTS, just like Taylah. Yanno it's funny. There's so many times I stumble on an account like this, where they're quiet and private until they need attention for being sick and then they have to open up to the public. The public includes people like me, who will archive their shit and laugh at it. Once they get the kind of attention they don't want, locking down their feed means no more growth because their posts won't show up unless you follow them already and if they try to accept new people they essentially take the risk that any new person could be a ne'er-do-well there to archive their shit.

ER pics, right on time.

Hello, this funny ha-ha meme about her cat Pam taught me something new: buscopan is OTC in Australia. You can just pick it up off the shelf like any other basic medication. Interesting information I was not aware of as it is prescription-only in the US.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.49.41.png

In April she’s back at the ER, preparing to be admitted and hoping they’ll “fatten her up” quickly. Bet they won’t.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.59.05.png

They put her on a soft food diet. No updates publicly for a long time. On her insta she’s just catposting.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.59.15.png

In August she says she has MALS.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.02.23.png

And gastroparesis. You know what can cause that? Buscopan lol. Buscopan is scopolamine, a powerful anticholinergic that will make your digestive system slow to a crawl. Several of the American girls I watch have used it to fuck their digestive systems all the way up. It also causes tachycardia and other symptoms.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.02.54.png

She makes the MALS diagnosis insta-official in September and says this is the cause of her gastroparesis too. The only competent MALS surgeon in Australia you say?
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.04.19.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.10.20.png

So just as a reminder, this is where we were introduced to Bianca. She told Taylah which general practitioner she saw in Melbourne that was willing to play along. Bianca will later use his name but she spells it “Hari” and since she is 1% less stupid than Taylah’s mom that’s what we’re going with. Unfortunately there’s like six dozen doctors with the first or last name Hari practicing in Melbourne so it still doesn’t help us. Dr. Hari was the one who ordered the original tests for MALS when he saw Taylah after Taylah’s mom bombarded him with journal articles she printed off the internet. After he “educated himself” he also diagnosed Bianca with it. Both Bianca and Taylah also apparently got “diagnosed” with gastroparesis by him. We can be reasonable sure Taylah’s gastric emptying study was normal because she never said what the results were, never went back to that gastroenterologist, and focused entirely on MALS after that. There’s also a few times Bianca is asked for this doctor’s info and says she’ll DM the person. So this is some guy whose name is being passed around like munchie samizdat amongst a group of young women with eating disorders explicitly because he validates their lies.
Screenshot 2023-11-08 at 21.51.42.png

She started her MALS awareness page in September 2019 by saying she has GP, POTS, MALS, and Nutcracker.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.37.57.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.38.03.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.38.31.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.42.17.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.42.27.png

Wow what a list! All in under one year! These Australian girls are wild.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.40.22.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.41.45.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.41.49.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.41.54.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.42.09.png

She had the same experience with Dr. Spark that Taylah did: she called asking if she could get surgery there and was told no because she didn’t have private insurance, then after she begged she was allowed to go cash only until her waiting period is up. She even says its a “step in the right direction to getting her abdomen sliced and diced.” Holy fuck kid.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.42.45.png

Multiple specialists have already told her she doesn’t have these issues. These girls and their cancer envy, absolutely fucking disgusting.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.46.21.png

Bianca’s another one where she’s thin but she’s not emaciated like she wants you to think. She’s going out of her way to look smaller. Also laugh at the measuring tape hanging off her mirror. I see u, Bianca.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.05.45.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.06.06.png

Two days after Taylah’s surgery she’s excited to finally meet Dr. Spark. So ready to see someone who won’t tell her it’s an ED or anxiety like every other doctor has.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.46.59.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.47.43.png

Dr. Spark predictably finds way more wrong with her than she initially thought. Don’t worry, he’s using Taylah’s highly successful surgery as a model for this girl! He learned something new from the time he had to repair the damage he did to her so he can implement that when he does Bianca’s surgery. Yanno, call me crazy but that wouldn’t comfort me. It’s not like this doctor is saying “there’s been a new advance in this surgery very recently.” Bianca knows Taylah and knows Taylah’s been having complications from the surgery this doctor did and he's just like nah, don't worry, I figured it out now.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.47.52.png

She tells us that he’s said she also has some ovarian vein issue as well as May Thurner Syndrome, compression of the right iliac artery by the left iliac vein, but he won’t be doing surgery on that because it’s not that bad. She doesn’t have any symptoms for that but he tells her she needs non-surgical treatment anyway (which is, funny enough, compression leggings and less running ot the ER for saline.)
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.52.32.png

December 19, she tells us she’ll be going under the knife on February 6th. At this point, Taylah’s had her bowel resections and is about to be discharged home to Melbourne. That’s the surgery Spark tossed her off to public health for. According to Taylah’s family, his excuse was he couldn’t get a team together in time but I’ve gotten the feeling it was a “welp, she’s your problem now!” when her case got too complicated and his colleagues started to ask the wrong questions.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 22.56.28.png

She’s excited to have the same treatment!
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.02.16.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.02.33.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.03.12.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.03.21.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.03.38.png

Yep. She learned about these diagnoses from Taylah.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.04.09.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.05.17.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.05.39.png

January 31, she posts terrible news: she will not be getting surgery because of another patient Dr. Spark has heard news about, which she can’t elaborate on. They tell her to go to Box Hill and get a full check up to make sure she’s healthy enough before he’ll do the surgery. January 31. The day Taylah posted that she collapsed and was back in ICU and now needed an extraordinarily dangerous and untested surgery. This is her spoonie bestie being disappointed that because Taylah is dying, she doesn't get vanity surgery.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.06.12.png

Her plan is now to get a feeding tube to get her weight up and then get separate surgeries done. Dr. Spark will do MALS surgery first and then the others as needed instead of carving her up in one go like he did to Taylah. Ooh, sounds like Spark is a little scared now.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.12.18.png

I’m sure you’re shocked that everyone thought this was an eating disorder.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.13.41.png

She goes to Epworth, a private hospital in Melbourne, who disagree with Spark. Her MALS is “very unimpressive” whereas Spark told her it was very severe. This doctor suggests a metabolic disease might be the caused of her problems but he’d need to do more testing. Another interesting tidbit: Taylah made it seem like Spark had seen and operated on many cases of MALS over his long career. Here Bianca lets us know he's seen "well over 15" but no word on how many of them have had surgery.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.14.40.png

The next day, she announces that in a month she’s going to Spark and getting the surgery anyway. Never mind that Epworth just determined she didn’t have the disease and didn’t need surgery to fix it. She has money and he still has a scalpel.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.16.38.png

Surgery birthday!
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.17.48.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.18.29.png

She survives.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.18.35.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.18.41.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.08.05.png

She has “surgery trauma” that makes her feel like she’s dying. The nurses explain that Spark leaned his arms on her chest while she was having surgery and now she’s sore from having his big old man body on her. I’m sure that’s normal. (Is it? I honestly don’t know.).
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.18.56.png

She does better than Taylah. After 6 days she’s discharged and after 8 she’s polishing off chicken and pasta.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.20.57.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.21.05.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.21.11.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.21.26.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.21.35.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.08.13.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.08.33.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.08.41.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.08.59.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.21.44.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.21.51.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.11.08.png

It'’s infected.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.22.06.png

Take that, surgeon who told her she needed to deal with her emotional problems!
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.22.53.png

Her aorta is now “compressing without having anything to compress it.” Spark has never seen anything like that! Yeah he seems to be really flying by the seat of his pants here, idk what to tell you ladies. Dude sees compression everywhere. She moves up her next appointment because her nutcracker syndrome has gotten worse. I’m sure you’re all surprised that this was also not the miracle cure she claimed it to be.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.23.29.png

Taylah’s dead. Bianca wants more surgery anyway because she has intestine cramps and they’re owie.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.25.22.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.09.31.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.11.24.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.09.09.png

She goes to the ER for a suspected infection.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.26.39.pngScreenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.26.51.png

On May 8 she updates to say it was a probable UTI that was actually not a UTI. That doesn’t explain the cramps. Spark is blowing her off and saying everything’s normal. Her dietician tells her she needs to start gaining weight because of course she hasn’t. They want her on specialized formula. Her GP says no to the formula and that she needs to fucking eat.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.27.07.png

They think she might have C. diff but she doesn’t. Don’t worry, she’s getting screened for EDS now, as is the natural progression of such things.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.30.21.png

Genetics suspects vEDS based on her history and tells her and her father to get urgent ultrasounds while they get ready to test her for the mutation.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.31.02.png

Turns out she’s been shitting herself inside-out since surgery and Spark has been assuring her this is totally normal and will get better any day now. She’s lost more weight and now she’s dehydrated all the time. The GP tells her to fuck off and take immodium then diagnoses her with somatization which she says is munchausen. Actually munchie, he wrote down that it was physical symptoms caused by anxiety. You’re the one who said munchausen although I’m sure he was thinking it real loud. They wrote that her diagnosis was “controversial” and she likely never needed the surgery. Taylah and Bianca shared doctors so often it’s fair to guess that this person was at least aware of what happened in the former case.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.32.00.png

In July the GP says the diarrhea/intestinal cramping is probably not psychosomatic but also says it probably has to do with the surgery she never needed and the solution is to wait and see if it goes away. July is also when Spark was drummed out of Flinders.
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.35.13.png

She paid $20k to get chronic diarrhea and a big flashing neon sign in her medical records that says “the only doctor who believed me is barred from ever doing this surgery again.”
Screenshot 2023-11-22 at 23.36.52.png

Over on her personal she’s posting Amy Lee Fisher. That’ll get me to believe you’re not just another ED case! Amy, for the uninitiated, was a British-born lass with an eating disorder who moved to Australia because it was too hard to munch on the NHS. She was first posted on the pro ana scumbags threads on LCF – not the munchies one – because she very hamfistedly shooped herself skelly all the time while showing off her tubes. She used to openly tube purge in vlogs complete with instructions about which foods were best and how to ensure you got as much out of you as possible. Also claimed Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis to explain why she couldn’t have sugary drinks (but could eat all sorts of sugary foods when she wanted to) and her potassium was always crashing through the floor. She died in 2021 of ED-related heart failure.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.13.10.png

The cause of Bianca’s diarrhea: her pancreas shit the bed right around when she had that surgery she never needed.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.17.57.png

In March 2021 she starts a tiktok because these children hate me and don’t want me to be happy. She posts a bunch of shit about how she’s not expected to live and might die young and oh my god the drama. These kids need manual labor or something, jesus wept.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.30.31.png

She lets us know she was talking to Taylah the night before she died.

Speaking of, Amy’s dead as fuck now. On Tiktok Bianca makes a sad-music video of her pursing her lips and looking forlorn as she brushes her hair out of her face over this, knowing Amy is smiling from heaven and jumping for joy for her. She says she and her friend looked up to Amy for years. The Venn diagram overlap between social media spoonie culture and an actual doomsday suicide cult is impressive.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.18.42.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.33.31.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.35.04.png

Still traveling to Adelaide for medical care. Almost like no one in the major city she lives in believes her.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.35.57.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.36.25.png

Yep. Spark bricked her pancreas when he was in there “fixing” her MALS. The mesenteric blood vessels and nerves he’s fucking with also supply the pancreas and now hers doesn’t work.

MALS surgery didn’t cure her! She’s getting scans for more compressions! She has POTS! Her pancreas doesn’t work! She has a connective tissue disorder that’s clearly not vEDS or else she’d be screaming it from the rooftops! She has to go to the hospital for pain but they don’t know what’s wrong. Just that she’s now on a shitload of pain medication.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.18.56.png

Imagine wearing the merch of the other butchered woman’s foundation while laying in the hospital trying to get cut open again. She’s going back to Adelaide, I guess to see Spark at his new private practice.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.42.52.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.43.06.png

Despite that the scans he does don’t show the arteries he needs to see, Spark diagnoses her with even more problems and tells her she needs a coil in her ovarian vein – the procedure he did in the other patient that was cited in the investigation after Taylah’s death – or a balloon into her iliac artery. At this point he’s under investigation but he’s not yet barred from doing nutcracker or requiring supervision for other procedures.

Most of her videos are just her eyefucking herself in the screen while the typical dramatic zoomer tiktok loops play. She gets an MRI hoping it’ll show something, surprise it doesn’t and even Spark can’t believe there’s nothing for him to chop up. She’ll be having an emergency gyno appointment now. Sounds like she’s trying to get an exploratory for endo next. I think something happened with the investigation right around here. Spark was aware before the decision was made public that he'd have to be under supervision for things like the ovarian vein coil and the iliac balloon he was suggesting because he plead down from "supervision for every surgery" to only partial supervision. It's just a little too convenient for me that he went from "yes we will definitely need to do more surgery" to "nothing to see here!" in a few weeks.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.48.05.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.48.12.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.48.19.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.49.11.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.49.20.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.49.58.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.50.08.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.50.13.png

She posts about how the doctors tell her that she doesn’t have MALS and summons a funny haha. She’s seen tons of psychiatrists! There’s nothing mental going on! She’s not a munchie god dammit!!!
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.51.10.png

Her pancreatic insufficiency was diagnosed by fecal elastase test. This is used for cases of severe exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, she shows off her Creon, and her surgeon is a fucking butcher so let’s give her one (1) confirmed diagnosis. One actual problem and it’s a complication of a surgery she never needed.

Stomach biopsies in June 2021.

That’s a bust. They tell her to try the FODMAP diet.

Another surgery. Over on Tiktok she lets us know the only time she’s hungry is when she has to fast for a procedure. Wow, what a tell!

it was a lapro surgery for endometriosis. her sister also has endo. Man what a turn around time! Just a few weeks between “looking into endo” and “yeet the endometrium”. Taylah’s mom in the comments hoping this is the key to her healing.

LMAO THE NURSES IN HER OWN FAMILY THINK SHE’S BULLSHITTING. This is excellent.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.00.28.png

Finally tells us the vEDS is not vEDS. It’s hEDS. How predictable.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.01.10.png

The audio for this says “you look so dumb right now.” Me @ all the times you’ve admit your doctors think you’re full of shit. When did anyone tell this hedgehog she was gonna die?

Another blood clot. Or clog.

Because she’s been on the wrong dose of blood thinners.

And she’s now on Creamy, Delicious Kate Farms! Really thought I was going to get through the Australians without being able to tell you to try it as lice treatment!Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.11.17.png

She’s so proud to have set others on this path of destruction.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.25.15.png

Been popping zofran like it’s candy for two years. Wonder why her motility sucks.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.27.18.png

How shocking. The endo surgery also didn’t cure her pain and now she might need another surgery.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.12.21.png

Every new drug and diet fails. Oh nooooooo she might need a tuuuube. What a terrible thing she certainly did not want to happen. . .

Lets us know they've tried to put her in the ED ward before.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.15.41.png

Realizing I’m going to have to start paying money for all my unnecessary medical care, sad times.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.16.34.png

“Medically neglected for 8 months.” She’s acting like she got no care. She was told it was probably a normal reaction to the surgery, tested for a bunch of things including UTIs and C. diff, was given antibiotics, antidiarrheals, and diets to try, and when all those failed they looked into less common things. It’s not like “surgeon unplugged pancreas” is the leading cause of diarrhea in young women.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.17.02.png

My American brain is going “wow, that’s so cheap!”
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.19.04.png

I love when munchies complain that people who didn’t choose this life get to move on and hit normal milestones.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.20.50.png

Creon shortage in Australia affects her more than anyone else of course.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.42.35.png

DEAR MUNCHIES. THIS IS NOT STRANGERS SAYING YOU’RE NOT SICK. THIS IS PEOPLE FEELING BAD THAT A YOUNG PERSON HAS HAD TO UNDERGO SURGERY AND SPEND THEIR LIFE IN THE HOSPITAL. They say it to fucking cancer kids all the time, because it is unfair that little kids get cancer or some other terrible disease and have to spend their lives like this when they should be running around the playground.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.22.15.png

#thathappened
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.24.19.png

Ahh there we go. The doctors who told her she wouldn’t survive? They meant “if you keep doing dumb shit to your body.” They weren't telling her she had some rare and fatal illness. They were saying "if you keep doing dumb shit to your body, popping pills you don't need, and refusing to eat real food you will die."
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.25.11.png

Surprise the allergy probably isn’t real either.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.25.32.png

She can eat and is no longer underweight. The MALS surgery worked?
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.25.57.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.29.21.png

Nope, it’s because she’s on Mirtazapine. Remeron. LMAO. We just had a whole conversation about how it turns you into a raging eat-beast.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.26.56.png

Still jerking off about Taylah’s death. Ian would be Dr. Spark.

Ten drugs she’s taken: fentanyl made her hallucinate, anxiephylaxis to the motility drug domperidone, midodrine made her feel like she had bugs crawling on her, tricyclic antidepressant dosulepin made her faint, motility drug metoclopramide/reglan gave her TD, opioid painkiller palexia “did nothing”, steroid fludrocortisone commonly used for POTS gave her the stomach owies, remeron gave her nightmares (and made her fat), zofran was too expensive. The benzo works. God I love this retard. She has no idea when to stop talking.

Incontinence pads for her period. Thanks for sharing?

Whoever taught zoomers about Kate Bush is on my shitlist, just saying. I have archived so many terrible munchie tiktoks set to Running Up That Hill and I demand reparations. She thinks she has measles from the MMR. (She doesn’t)
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.36.59.png

Haha. No one believes or cares about her illness except other tiktok spoonies.

I’m sure Taylah’s family appreciates that everyone knows that you found about her death while scrolling facebook on the shitter, especially since you posted so much about your chronic diarrhea at the time. “Yeah so I was spray-painting the toilet bowl with liquid dooky and . . .”

CT with contrast.

Amazing. The same thing he told Taylah’s parents. Worst case he’d ever seen, no blood flow, never seen anything like it. This man was a menace.

Suddenly in April she announces she’s knocked up. It does not at all seem like this was planned or expected in any way.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 00.09.59.png

Of course, right away she says she has HG because these girls can't even have normie morning sickness.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.44.48.png

Like all of these vapid dishtowels, she is horrified by the thought that the baby is now the center of attention. No one cares what’s going on with her anymore. They wanna know how the baby’s doing, when they can meet him, and what you plan to name him. He’s the main character now, not you.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.45.37.pngScreenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.45.42.png

If you munch out your child I swear to god I will ruin your entire life.
Screenshot 2023-11-23 at 01.48.25.png

no, they’re not married, nor has he asked her yet. Passive aggressive ticky-tockies are funny.

I’m not doxing a baby but he was born healthy. The good news is there’s been no talk of mom’s health since the baby was born in October, even despite the fucked up sleep and nursing schedule. She seems to genuinely have fallen into the new mom role and just posts about breastfeeding now which is, well, the Luna Buna thread has made me see a red flag but she's a brand new mom and this is still very exciting. It’s only been a month so time will tell I suppose.

Ahh sometimes you just need some comic relief, like a moron who knew the surgeon fucked her up and was still running to get hacked up by him again for the simple reason that everyone else called her on her shit. I'm sure if Spark could still do the surgeries she wanted she'd be banging down his door to get them.

I really want to know how she gave herself seratonin syndrome. It's not hard to do. But it's not easy either. She doesn't seem the type to be taking St John's Wort in the background. Also mirtazapine. I was on it for a few years. It increased my appetite for the first maybe week I was on it (and then with dose increases thereafter) but it wasn't like Ana defeating levels. It permanently fucked up my dreams though which is interesting.

Obviously with these things everyone's mileage varies.

The nurses explain that Spark leaned his arms on her chest while she was having surgery and now she’s sore from having his big old man body on her. I’m sure that’s normal. (Is it? I honestly don’t know.).
You know how people will spitball about a porn starlet banging six guys at once, like including handjobs to get the numbers up, and you're just thinking "but where would they all stand?" Surgery can get kind of like that.

There are some pretty wild positioning devices routinely used to hold someone's unconscious body steady in a strange position so an operative site is maximally accessible. It's the rest of the surgical team's responsibility to make sure limbs are padded and circulation isn't cut off, but some effects are unavoidable, e.g. people's faces are puffy as hell after spinal surgery because they've been prone for hours. On an average morning you can wake up a little sore because you slept funny; imagine someone else positioned you with dense foam wedges, you couldn't settle in and make microadjustments to get comfy beforehand, and you couldn't move out of that position.

It's not great that the surgeon was leaning on her intraoperatively, if that really was the cause of the problem, but it's not strictly improper. From everything else posted about this surgeon, I'm not surprised that he didn't have the best ergonomics, and I'm sure the procedure ran long.

but I’ve gotten the feeling it was a “welp, she’s your problem now!”
bingo. I mentioned Charlie Teo before, he was renowned for this, but it's not exactly uncommon. Private hospitals are (mostly) not set up to deal with very unwell patients, they're set up to manage routine surgeries that make money.
Some might have a Cardiac ICU to manage the routine post operative period of a cardiac bypass, for example. But they wouldn't manage someone that got stabbed in the chest.
Another example, there are no NICUs in private hospitals so if your new baby comes out needing a NICU bed it needs to go to the public.

Smaller hospitals will only do day procedures. A classic one you see in public emergency departments is the kid that got their tonsils removed in a private hospital, and they start pissing out blood overnight while the hospital is closed. They now become the problem of the public.

want her on specialized formula.
so glad she got her Kate Farms in the end! I hear you can use it as a toner to remove brassiness.

Also with the mysterious Dr Hari/Harri, my guess is that his real name is something long and south Asian and everyone just refers to him as Dr Hari.

Both of these girls are on the east side (rich side). I'd be keen to know who this Dr Hari is.

Kate Farms Shill, these are brilliant write ups of girls very close in proximity to me. I read a news article about Taylah on one of the mainstream sites previously but none about Bianca.

The Royal Children's is touted as the best children's hospital in the Southern hemisphere. It really is up there. We give millions of dollars on Good Friday (Good Friday Appeal) each year to help fund the hospital .

The Alfred is another well respected public hospital. The Epworth is a well respected private hospital in Melbourne. As Flourishing Pinecone said, only when you want to skip the public line is private worth it.

I'd love to know how much these hospitals really indulged the munchie girls. I have no idea about Adelaide hospitals but Dr Sparks sounds like a right one. I know I'd never go to an Adelaide hospital over a Melbourne one (Adelaide is considered a backwater compared to Melbourne) so these girls would have been absolutely desperate for their diagnosis. Or all the Melbourne ones have picked up their faked illnesses, which Kate Farms has already indicated. To be a fly on their wall or to read the medical records...

A relative of a relative of a relative has a POTS diagnosis complete with heart surgery and I've never met her but I side eye the info every time I am given anything because this thread makes me question any of these diseases. Thanks ladies!

Honestly my guess is that he has unwittingly been roped into being a munchie favourite, considering Taylah said she had to "educate" him. Then he's flagged online in their munchie groups as a "good" doctor to see, and the new patients go to him whether he likes it or not. I have heard of this happening to female GPs in particular who try to be empathetic to the anxious/somatasising types, and when they start to get a influx of new, similar patients they find their name listed on forums.

How hard can it be to not use a picture of yourself holding a fucking can of Pringles to that caption.
That's something that always amaze me, that they keep showing what they actually eat and try to bullshit others that "no no of course I'm nil by mouth, I'm starving to death".

I say it all the time: they control 100% of the narrative they're presenting. They don't have to show me the food they're eating or that they went hiking without their super necessary Tilite with the smart drive because It Was Worth It. If they didn't, I wouldn't be able to point and laugh at them. But for some reason they are like compelled to show these things and talk about them. I think they're addicted to the drama/secretly want to get the one-off mean responses so they can scream about how oppressed they are.

Part of the reason I loved doing Jessica Riley so much is she almost never did those things. Right up until the blindness arc, she was shockingly consistent. If she wasn't in her wheelchair she had that beanbag thing behind her supporting her or she was in her bed with the side rails propped up on a nest of pillows. We never saw what she was eating and she only rarely mentioned her feeding tube formula. It was actually a challenge to figure out where the lie was and show my proof. Actually all the ones I've done recently that have actually made me truly happy - Amanda Winig aside - have been cases where I had to really dig to figure out how they were pulling it off, like Jamie Bruce wrecking her legs with dance and surgeries as opposed to like, the Sams twins who were funny only because there were two of them.

The ones I hate the most are the ones that try to make every inconvenience and inconsistency into a massive civil rights campaign like Annie-Grace whining that a bathroom wasn't accessible because the purse hook was too high while also screaming that she's an ambulatory wheelchair user and it's perfectly valid and doesn't mean she's faking. fucking pick one. Either this was the tragedy of the century because your purse had to sit on your lap while you tinkled or you stood up to hang it on the hook because ambulatory wheelchair users exist.

I very much enjoy reading these writeups that KFS blesses us with. And I always giggle when yet another astonishing use for Creamy, Delicious Kate Farms gets a mention. I heard it can be used in the dishwasher to make your glasses crystal clear!

Was announced this month that Gypsy Rose's release date will now be December 28th 2023. She won her parole hearing last month.
There were two major documentaries about her and/or DeeDee released within a couple years after that happened. The difference between the two are night and day.

The first was made, I believe, before "everything" got out in trial, and so the family members that were interviewed were very much anti-Gypsy, but in the second, DeeDee's parents openly claimed they flushed her ashes down the toilet.

Interesting case study.

Gypsy gets out in a few weeks how long do you think it will take for her to chimp out and get her very own KiwiFarm thread?

Edited to clarify- I know there is a thread about the case/Hulu show but I mean Gypsy the lolcow. I think she will have a heavy and hilarious social media presence within a month of having access to the internet.

I could see this happening.

Her life has consisted of severe, infantilising abuse, then an institution (prison). She is in her early 30s; this is all she's ever known.

I hope this is not her trajectory, but there's a reasonable chance IMO she'll do all the wrong things with freedom because she's never had the chance to learn how to take risks, make decisions and fend for herself.

Yeahhhhh part of me wants her to make bank off her story and then live a comfortable quiet life. Another part of me thinks she's going to let the notoriety get to her head and be a huge public train wreck. I guess time will tell. Also slightly worried that she was engaged twice and then got married while incarcerated because hoooo boy I cannot imagine that guy has nothing but pure intentions in marrying her.

Theres a few MBP and transhausen-by-proxy survivors speaking out on social media right now and it's like 50/50 between "making the most of it, using my story to prevent this from happening to others" and "THE WORLD OWES ME EVERYTHING NOW."

I think she will be quiet. Surely there I some level of social work involvement with people like this who at the very least advise them not to live a public life? That might be optimistic of me though.

If they release her without a social worker to help her it would be a huge disservice. She's never existed in the real world without the pigger over her shoulder, so at least let someone help her get her shit together.
