Minor legal sperg, but only "named" class members are required to put their names on a lawsuit. Other class members who choose to "opt-in" would only need to attach their names if they decide to claim damages as part of a judgement or settlement. It would be interesting however, if one of these degenerate fucks would "fall on the sword" and put their name forward as a class representative. No "Missy Pissy" or John Doe aliases here, the legal system doesn't allow for that bullshit when it comes to named representatives.
Aside from their whining and seething, the fact that they think that they have the grounds for a LOL-suit in the first place is laughable. Much like Ebay/PayPal, Etsy, etc. Patreon is an intermediary, and their only obligation is to forward actual payments to the "creators", less their cut, of course. Much like Jewtubers who decry demonetization/deplatforming, they're under no obligation to host your content. We here know all too well the censorship and overreaching from private companies to stifle free speech, and while I'm not glad it happens, I do admit it's nice to see the shoe on the other foot for once.
