My theory on this is that Keemstar, long demonized (etika, total biscuit etc) and a borderline lolcow himself, sees this as a potential redemption arc for his own reputation.

He's "loyal" to these people because they have less clout than he does and he can milk them for money and his own clout. Keem isn't loyal, he's just a decent business man that knows how to utilize people to make him money. He had no interest in Boogie for a couple years until he pitched boogie on leaning into his lolcow personality and doing the boxing, the pod, and so on.

If overnight some allegation came out about Boogie that stained Keem as well he'd drop him like a hot coal. Loyalty is the lowest of "virtues" for a reason.

I was thinking about the Dezi thing and had a few thoughts.

1. There is a very real possibility that Boogie is going to die in front of her. He knows this. He sat her down and read off all his health problems and made her cry. Not only is he manipulating her and keeping her around using his health problems as leverage, there is a nonzero chance he is gonna fucking stroke out or have a heart attack in front of her and she's going to have to live with that trauma and guilt for the rest of her life. He knows this and does not care. Fuck, it looked and sounded like he was getting off making her cry and talking about his health. This is probably a happy ending for him. Any other person, especially if they really loved her, would let her go and spare her from a lifetime of PTSD from his death. But Boogie doesn't care, as long as he has a mommy maid bringing him Mt. Dew and teen girl HAMSing him, nothing else matters.

This thread and cow are funny at some points, but the Dezi aspects of this are not funny. What he is doing is fucked up, and if he had any shame or morals he would leave these young girls alone. mind you, in 2 or 3 of the videos i had listed were related to the documentary and some shameless clickbait
i just checked on those videos (1 month + old videos) and the doc and clickbait ones did 50K + with a few 100K views, with even a 200K view video somewhere around that time
some videos performed really well, but that was likely steam from the documentary
what remains to be seen is whether or not this podcast A, will last and B, will it further steam his youtube channel

some history for those who don’t know (everyone i assume): Tommy C uses to host a podcast for ice hockey, with about 20 loyal live viewers. Then one day in 2016 he randomly decided to do a stream to dunk on Keem for whatever reason. Probably to entertain his 20 fans with something different. That was live, so guess who googled his own name and joined the stream? Keemstar. Keem jumped in the podcast and started a shouting match with tommy, which tommy won. Keem couldn’t let that slide, so in order to “dunk” back on him and show who is the real big boss guy he decided to make tommy his employee and added him to the Baited podcast. To repeat: Tommy was added to baited because of one interaction with keem on which he dunked on keem. After that they had a falling out because of pay, in which colossaliscrazy joined tommy because of unfairness. That comes from the same mindset that keem wants to be the boss and it was to kind of spite tommy. But keem loves tommys attitude, and eventually they became “friends” again.
