So, here's the disconnect...
There's a few conservative folks on YouTube who I'm familiar with, and one of them recently did a Short on how steaks in grocery stores are being stolen. This dude wants to blame "low-trust society" for this. This is how these luxury YouTube career people think--they cannot imagine the fact that people are living paycheck-to-paycheck and they can hardly afford to pay all their bills let alone pay for three square meals every day.
People aren't stealing food because they live in a low-trust society. People are stealing food because they can't afford food. Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Brett Cooper, and all the reset of these "conservative" YouTube types don't understand this. They don't care about you if you make less than $50,000 a year. And, chances are, they never will. In my book, this makes them no different from the ivory tower folks.
