Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

I meant that Richard, specifically, was biowaste. Near the end he was more Ambien than actual man. A spineless Potbelly pie-filled foot fetishist hopped up on mangosteen and pain pills.
fam near the end he couldn't afford potbelly pie. That nigga was hitting up the nearest QuikTrip and getting shit hotdogs and meat sticks.

Forum Founder gay, so what?
I seem to recall Null (or maybe someone else?) making the point that Lowtax was the wrong person to start Something Awful given his lack drive, that he basically stumbled onto a gold mine by complete accident, and that someone would have created a forum similar to SA eventually anyway.

On the flip side, if it wasn't Lowtax, it could have been someone even worse.

I think early Lowtax had the right amount of drive and spite to give SA the foundation it needed. The articles, the rules, the spiteful way he accidentally monetized the site, and the way he would deal with lawsuits were all perfect.

The main issue is that Lowtax ran SA for like 20+ years but was pretty clearly sick of it after ~5 or so years. He was just too greedy and smallminded to find someone else to run it for him.

I’m still surprised Lowtax was able to bag so many dumb broads into rawdogging despite being a weird foot fetish creep and being bitchy 24/7.

Its a shame he didn’t go full Khan style and bang all the super fat mods and goons he had so his prodigy can grow up, demand expensive shit and turbo delete themselves from this world after a self-destructive failure.

It’s funny to think he had buyers but refused to sell. Sure it wasn’t Tom from MySpace money but it was enough to keep him box wine, ambien and goldbelly pies for the rest of his life and with plenty left over to hire all the sweaty-toed prostitutes he wanted. Instead he end up alone, without his beloved pies and suckstarting a gun, all because he put a BPD whore in her place.

Even if he didn't want to sell it outright - just be the owner and have some CEO handle all of the business side.

Lowtax strikes me as someone who doesn't realize people are your most important resource in life. Something I learned throughout life is that it's extremely helpful to have a mentor--someone you can call and ask for pointed advice.

Like I argued earlier, Lowtax was less interested in money, especially coming from his background and just having it around (and why he spent it so freely) than being the proud owner of the BEST COMEDY WEBSITE EVER... despite not having the discipline to actually do anything with it. It was basically his claim to fame and one success in life. His life was in a downward spiral since around his first wife, and the website long before that. He was incredibly defensive about any criticism towards SA, whatsoever, even the most miniscule constructive ones. I think goons at the time thought it was just sort of a forum culture 'meme' of some sort but in reality it was just Lowtax's stark antisocial mental illness.

Absolutely, but it was a little distorted... he has his little fartsniffer groupies he favored above all else, clinging to yes-men, dipshits, and Shmorky (a category of degenerate all his own). He relied on, and used as a resource with giving little back himself, the most absolutely useless group of people. I think maybe Fragmaster was the most competent person in his inner circle? I'm not sure, I don't remember them too well.

I feel like Something Awful back in the day was something people forced themselves to like because there wasn't anything like it. It's actual reality, the day-to-day posting on there and overall community, was shit. Sometimes some of the goon gamer groups could be okay, if there weren't the elitist kind. Something Awful had a problem with unwarranted elitism coming down all the way from Kyanka himself, due to this very problem of how he interacted with people.

Only people I know if whom Lowtax may have been able to reach out were Diabetus and slowbeef of Retsupurae fame. slowbeef, in particular, is happily married and is also a father. He's a weirdo, but for certain one can say that he's of sound mind and certainly well off. slowbeef is a dad and he's happy to be one.

Honestly, I feel like Lowtax could have used some time in the military. Maybe not a career, but even if he had gone to basic training and learned more about how to work with people, he may have had a better understanding of things. Really, when I look at him, I see a kid who never really grew up. He hit the whole dating scene way too late and had no fucking idea of the fact that being a father is one of the most meaningful things that can happen to you in your life.

That being a father is probably what gets me the most about his story is because he fucking squandered that. And, no, he can't really blame his ex-wife for that one. One might have been able to see him trying to make things right if he didn't an hero himself, but the fact that he did basically showed that his fatherhood meant nothing to him. That's unforgivable.

Funny that his idol, and the only person he never shat on was Mike Nelson of MST3k fame, who by all accounts is a normal, Christian, family man. As wholesome as wholesome can be. And instead of taking a page from Mike's life, lowtax went full degenerate.

Money, the answer is money. That and sometimes "I can fix him."

And the last woman who quite literally killed him, albeit indirectly, was some BPD nutjob. They don't think a day ahead. It's lucky for that potential kid that could've been that he didn't knock her up. Now that would've been a tragic start.

Lowtax could now sit in some fancy snowy resort sipping on wine and waiting for new years with a high class escort or two warming his bed and all the feet money can buy, if he just made some slightly different decisions. Just that. Didn't even need anymore luck than he already had. It really kinda boggles the mind doesn't it? I think it's what keeps this thread alive.

That and the fact that most women are not capable of thinking far ahead and planning things out. Really sexist thing to say, but it is true. That whole "Do men think about the Roman Empire?" trend that went around the web not too long ago really highlighted that women's minds are inherently different from mens in determining bigger concepts and not just focusing on what is currently in front of you. The women in Lowtax's life were perfect examples as well.

One of the things I found really interesting in Rich's love life is how each woman repeated the pattern that the previous one did in their relationship with Rich: they bought into all his bullshit, they attacked the previous girl and then they proceeded to call upon the previous girl for help when the relationship deteriorated with Rich.

Ashli spent her time with Rich bashing Megan. Then she proceeded to run to Megan for help when she wanted to leave Rich.

Logan immediately downplayed everything that Ashli accused Rich of, spent her entire relationship with him attacking her only to then proceed to immediately apologize when she needed to go after Rich when he decided to beat the crap out of her as well.

Just think about how revealing that is that the cycle repeated to a tee each time.

Lowtax could be superficially charming and he wasn't hideous looking. Plus at the start, he was king of SA which meant he had "power" (to goonettes at least) and he had money towards the end. It's not like he was some weird looking 300lb loser shut-in living in an eastern european hovel complaining about cheese.

Also dumb. Females generally think about the survival of their offspring. They care much less about the survival of the retards who donated sperm.

Humans who are alive now are generally descended from females who cared enough about their offspring to avoid breeding with worthless males like incels, MGTOWs, and other genetically defective individuals.

There is a huge genetic prefentialism for the offspring of sane male and female partners.

Those who do not fall into this class are vastly represented on the Internet, that is, retards, incels, autists, etc.

Sorry, you're weeded out evolutionarily for a reason. It's improving the species.
