Lord Frogmire Appreciation Thread - The Better Brother (Formerly Known as Synthetic Man Appreciation Thread) - Might have an account here

Stream was comfy. had fun with friends at the beginning, fucked around a bit during the middle part and introspective rant at the end. hope he get some rest before streaming again.

Doesn't sound like a bad life to be honest, playing vidya and earning some cash for the act.

I mean I am freezing my fucking nuts off in a field in the middle of fucking nowhere, trying to fix a piece of shit that was designed by a fuck witted retard. And I stood in sheep shit. And it stinks of piss.

At least I am a tax paying, upstanding citizen...
i'm told it's better than being a tax leech but i sincerely doubt it

He's getting fat, going bald, and a high school graduate living with his mom making 20k a year on YouTube.

That's not a super great life for someone turning 30.
Let's See how much money Synth makes with my GAME THEORY:

His Money from YouTube ad is around 600k views per month now days (he used to get 1 mil and during the Mauler Drama got 2 mil views, but now not as much. It's probably a temporary shadow ban since EFAGS mass reported him for political/fanboy reason. If we say his cpm is $5 then I think he likely gets after 45% YouTube cuts: $1,650

Then his YouTube Superchats are the real money makers, and since he went way more chud mode in stream, chats love that and throws even more money at him. I counted for October this year he received 1,205 superchats. Most of them are 2 or 5 dollars with some whale comment from time to time, I just going to round them to average $6 per superchat, that give us after 30% cuts: $5,061

So yeah, his gross income should be around $6,711 per month. That's like about 80k gross income a year without shilling sponsors. Synth, if you read this, I don't mind if you do sponsorship. I want you to make as much money as possible so you can invest them wisely to perhaps learn an useful skill for after YouTube.

Why is he living in his parent's attic? Inhaling mold if he clears 80k/yr?

Synthetic Man might have a rocket squirrel mentality. I have a programmer buddy who worked ungodly hours and made good money yet still lived in an almost unlivable dive of a studio apartment for almost seven years, never going out, driving a crappy beater of a car, eating ramen and rice, saving nearly every possible penny and investing the rest. I asked him about it.

"I've got a plan," he said, and he did.

When my buddy figured he had enough, he made his move, first to Colorado where he always wanted to live, started his own business in software development, met his dream girl, bought his dream house, and now has his dream family.

I admire the iron discipline it took him to get there, mainly because I don't possess that kind of discipline, myself. Me, I just roll with it, play it by ear. I do okay but I'm not out there optimizing the possibilities every day, either.

So yeah, it could be SM is building up his nest egg, ready to make his move, or he's blowing it all on hookers and blow and dooming himself to a life in his parents' attic, watching Mauler make fucked-up videos of his life. Not so bad either way.

As long as Synthetic Man does not go full on Asmongold and have long hair and more of a messy bedroom that he refuses to clean up to maintain his humbled and “coming from the ground up” image, then he’ll be fine.

afraid of being alone. like he don't wants to live by himself. he said many times if he gets a GF things will change.
Not trying to be too big of a dick, but synth doesn’t seem like the type to be able to get a girlfriend.
annawaifu? fuck no analcake did post her pic in the synthetic man fan discord and I almost throw up.
For a woman she has an extremely manly voice. Just based on that alone she’s not gf material.

Something I've noticed recently is that Synth keeps attacking viewers for liking mediocre games purely because of nostalgia. For example Lord of the Rings War in the North.
All while fanboying Dragon's Dogma, an extremely mediocre game without a hint of irony. A game that he loves because he played it a lot on his PS3 years ago. If he'd played Dragon's Dogma for the first time today with the same chance he gave that game he would dislike it just as much.

I'm not so sure about that. I played DD back when it first released and hated it. I picked it up last year and put about 120 hours into it, absolutely loved it and just pre ordered DD2.
