Ask @WelperHelper99 about mormon shit - Cope and Seethe edition

Oh you're a mormon/ ex mormon?

I just assumed you were autistic and a bit incelish.
Yes, I'm a practicing Mormon
Why do Mormons like to have multiple partners?
We don't, that's old lore and done
Since you brought it up. What is the purpose of the underwear? Also, what does it mean to be temple worthy?
The underwear is a symbol and being temple worthy basically means you're living a clean and chaste life

Kirtland is only several miles from me so I've visited the Kirtland Temple and Morley Farm a couple times, there's still a decent LDS presence but the biggest Mormon church is a Community of Christ.

Nice places with a lot of history, I always thought it was bullshit how you guys were treated even if I don't understand your religion.

That being said, why on Earth do Mormons like Jell-O so much?

Yeah... they kinda own Kirtland. It's weird.

I can't tell you man, it just kinda happened
Is it true that most feds are mormons?
That article is bullshit, I really don't know any feds

@WelperHelper99 i have a question, a serious one i am very curious about
i was shocked by a TV show last year, and id like to know, what did Mormons think about the TV show Under the Banner of Heaven?
have you seen it, and did you think it was accurate/fair on Mormons?
edit: i was shocked because it kind of came out of nowhere, and was very entertaining

Did Mormons take over Utah or was it given to them? What makes Utah a hit Mormon spot?

Never watched it. I render no judgements. I do note it says Mormon fundamentalists. The FLDS is a completely different splinter that we have zero contact with because they're inbred polygamist fuckers.

Brigham Young said after a long, long journey "this is the place". There were some conflicts but we mostly got along with the few Indians here.
Is it true that mormons watch too much tranime hence explaining their heretical tolerance of harems?
Only the FLDS

I read a (fictional) book written by a Mormon who had an interesting idea of fallen angels. The idea was that (as with Milton) a third of the angels rebelled against God's creation. The loyal were spirits who would be born into human bodies and learn virtue, charity, self-sacrifice, etc. The reason demons are assholes is that they never went through this process of learning morality.

Is this actually a Mormon belief or was it just something he made up for the story?

Yeah... they kinda own Kirtland. It's weird.
Good people though, just like the regular CLDS I've met around here. I had a good conversation with a couple of young CLDS guys preparing for a mission trip while spending time wandering at Veterans Park and they gave me a small card with Jesus on it that I've held onto since then, it was just such a good-hearted gesture. Nothing wrong with more people praying for me.

I've never been scammed by Mormons as opposed to Catholics and other Christians (including the exalted Amish) so you definitely have that going for you.

Maybe in majority Mormon areas you'll get burned like with any other religion but the local Mormons are very solid.
