You either support the death penalty or you don't. If you support it in at least some cases then you support it. I don't know if Vaush describes himself as anti-death penalty, but I've known plenty of progressives who vocally describe themselves as such but would be willing to make "exceptions" and kill criminals if the case has pissed them off enough.
