The fact that he somehow thinks his own comedy is somehow influenced or comparable to Kaufman's work is really something else, pretty much delusional. At most they share a character with a 'funny' accent and curly hair, but that's where the similarities end.

I'm not a Kaufman fan, I get it but I just never thought it was all that funny. He was good on Taxi, but his solo stuff and interviews are painful to me. That being said I can at least appreciate his craft, whereas watching Boogie try to be funny is like watching a teenager with a hard-on fumbling at a bra strap.

IIRC, someone receiving SSDI can earn income by other means but anything earned over a certain value is deducted dollar for dollar from the monthly SSDI payment. For example, an individual receiving a $1k monthly government check can work but if they make $1,100 from the job their SSDI payment would only be $900.

If disability works similarly in the US like it does in Canada (and most countries that have a version I think) it's not just free money handed to you for being disabled, you're only allowed to earn up to a certain amount of money every month while on it (usually not a whole lot, your quality of life is quite low). If you want to/do earn above a certain threshold then your disability payments are either reduced or eliminated altogether, as your disability obviously isn't preventing you from supporting yourself at a certain point.

If it is in fact similar, then Boogie is drastically overstating his ability to simply start drawing a disability check. It's not like he just makes a phone call and the tap is turned back on, he would have to reapply all over again and I'm pretty sure his YT income alone disqualifies him. Look at what I found here from ssa.gov:

'We generally use earnings guidelines to evaluate whether your work activity is SGA. If you are working in 2023 and your earnings average more than $1,470 ($2,460 if you’re blind) a month, you generally cannot be considered to have a qualifying disability.'

I've read that it's the same in the US, that once you've been on disability and left it/supported yourself long-term it's nearly impossible to get back on it without some new disability to claim. Also I bet like anything government the whole application process is fucking slow as molasses.

I guess Boogie could quit Youtube/Twitch and somehow drag his income down to below the limit and then try to get back on disability, but AFAIK it's no guarantee and what he's not saying is how drastically his quality of life would have to change (an unacceptable amount to him IMO). Hopefully someone more familiar with the US system can correct/confirm.

He was on it but got booted after he started making $$$$$ from youtube. He's also wrong. Once you've been booted you are in fact no longer recognized as disabled and if he ever wanted to get back on the tugboat he'd have to go through the entire process again. Hardly anyone gets the "total permanent disability" branding, and Stephen sure as shit didn't just from being fat and depressed.

Just to revisit this for a moment, and perhaps a medikiwi can set me straight, but cursory searching doesnt seem to indicate that "short knees" is a thing. Though I wouldnt be surprised if he has knock knees.

"Fused spinal cord" also isnt a thing. You can have fused vertebrae (not the whole column or "cord"[sic]), but thats usually the result of surgery, or a side effect of another disorder. When did boog ever have spinal surgery?

Is there actually any proof that fatty was legit on disability and wasnt tugboated by his family?

He has no significant work history that I know of so wouldn't qualify for SSDI, but only for SSI. His max monthly payment in 2023, if he did qualify, would be $914. And he wouldn't qualify for that because he is almost certainly nowhere near broke enough to qualify. He is living substantially better than he would be on SSI and he'd have to lose that house.

In short, he's full of shit.

Anyone with real back problems can usually tell you exactly what they are, like stenosis in the lumbar spine with herniation at the L5-S1, to pick one at random (and that might even be something other than gibberish).

Unless he has way more work history than I know of, he wouldn't qualify for SSDI anyway. I think it would depend on whether he's been paying self-employment income or just cheating. Generally if you're self-employed you have to pay both the share of income you would if employed, as well as the other half your employer would have paid.

By "short knees", he most likely means "shot knees". Boogie constantly misspells things and does not correct them, ever, even on his own website, YouTube video titles, descriptions and thumbnails, private messages, and tweets. As an aside, I have long speculated Boogie might genuinely be borderline mentally retarded, at around 80 IQ or so, and that he probably required the assistance of special education services in school, and have doubts that he graduated high school. He is a 50 year old man that is nearly illiterate, and is constantly providing Rickyisms such as screaming that people are "complacent" while meaning "complicit" in a Twitch rant, as well as frequently misspeaking phrases such as "along that lines" and "the mass majority".

I do not know what he means by he has a fused spinal cord, as, like you've said, you cannot have a "fused spinal cord". I have heard him say as an excuse for why he can't get a job, alongside his many other excuses, that his back is "broken". All I have ever seen or heard about this is that many years ago, Boogie fell and broke his shoulder and required surgery. I don't have Twitter so I can't search for "my back" or "back broken", but this guy posts everything about himself online, including a picture of his bare ass when he broke a chair, so if it's not online, it probably didn't happen.

What I do know, however, is that Boogie conveniently got on disability very shortly after his mother passed away. He got on disability at age 37, around two years after Rape Wizard Wanda passed away, coincidentally around how long it takes to be approved/denied for SSDI. What I also know is that Boogie's only ever claims of consistently making money are having "worked in the porn industry" and being a "webmaster" which is, as we all now know, was him running degenerate pedophilic and misogynistic porn blogs he begged for money on. All the while he was consistently housed, eating 5000 calories a day, constantly buying video games and consumerist garbage, maintaining a WoW subscription, blowing $200 at strip clubs and much more, so what's more likely? Boogie's mother, who entrusted him out of all three siblings with her home, provided financial assistance to him until she died, or Boogie made all the money to do all that off the charity of others on a nasty porn blog?

Also, while I'm on this topic, I kind of have solidified my theory of Boogie's childhood abuse history. Boogie's mom most likely favored Boogie if she gave him and only him her house, and in Boogie's words, his brother got abused at an earlier age, and I believe he has said it may have been worse. On top of this, Boogie has said that his mother didn't want to mess him up. I think I'm right on this, but please correct me, as Boogie's told so many different stories I may be making a mistake here, but I believe he's said these things in the past. So what I ultimately believe is that while Boogie probably was physically abused by his mother, it was not as severe as he claimed, and he stole stories from what happened to his brother, and stole the rape and molestation shit from his sister.

We've seen his own brother publicly correct a lie Boogie told about her sister being stabbed, and we've all seen how these things have changed dozens of times over the years. Just recently Boogie said to Turkey Tom that he woke up with a knife in him, when before this, he said he woke up to his mother tracing a knife on him. I've noticed he really harps on the being "stabbed" thing, while one of his big stories is his sister being "stabbed" (which his brother publicly said was not a stabbing, but rather a knife being thrown), and he doesn't appear to have any scars (and if he did he'd obviously show them off), so I think he mixes and matches with what happened to his sister and brother. We've seen how extravagant his claims are, with him saying that his 40+ year old mother threw him, so I imagine he just takes stories from his brother and sister and greatly exaggerates them.

But, to end this and get off that tangent, Boogie is not physically disabled. He has been constantly fucking around in theme parks, getting on planes and going to conventions, and breaking and throwing shit as Francis for years. He is completely capable of working a real job, and even if he were physically disabled, all he does is fucking sit on a recliner all day staring at his phone, so he's not too disabled to sit for 8 hours at a call center. This is simply an excuse he uses as well as something to elicit pity, which is his master plan, really. I mean look at him - he's obese, disabled, old, autistic, a victim of the internet "abusing" him (he actually said this), he's a rape victim. His tactic is to just roll over and show you his belly, it's pathetic.

But tl;Dr: yes if you had a significant back injury you'd know. This is like Mike Tyson's "sthpinal" moment.

Late but I just watched that documentary. Holy hell, it pretty much confirmed everything said about him in this thread, the part where he just constantly spend money he didn't have hit me hard. I don't think I will buy anything extra for a little while, I would rather build up my nest egg a bit more this month than to end up anywhere unprepared as this fat fuck. Thanks, melon!
Has that creepy 20 year old girl been looked into? I have no clue what her deal is, I can't imagine anyone wanting to willingly hook up with Boogie unless it's for the money...and he has none, she said she has daddy issues, but surely there are better sugardaddies out there than this fat fuck

There are lots of people on disability who are healthier than Steven. In the black community, getting SSDI is treated like a big prize.
