Here’s what you do. You need to be genuine. Understand women do know more than you about some things (sure it’s dumb things like sims4 and squishmellows) but nevertheless learn from her. Also yeah I was broken up about that girl we made up on thanksgiving. But I think ima have to let her go. It hurts. But she won’t change. I get along with her more than anything, but she has some self destructive behaviors that she won’t let herself get away from. (Very small but to correct them she would have to listen to a man 🙄) but I can’t be with her and have self respect if she doesn’t follow my lead in certain things.

...but let it be known I'm teasing you, not shitting on you, at least on the point of dating others. It's possible to be "a hopeless romantic" and to protect yourself/do what you need to see clearly. And if she is actually toxic and/or you have any tendency to be sucked in by toxic people or even just push against recognizing poor fundamental (not just "getting along") compatibility, it's probably a very good idea to look out for yourself/keep perspective. The juxtaposition of the statements was just funny.

That said, it isn't reasonable to expect someone you're not even committed to dating exclusively to do as you say just because you say it.

I would say that "I can't be with someone who won't follow my lead/do as I think best" is a rather arrogant and dehumanizing/ infantilizing perspective, but I know there are those here who unironically think that that is exactly the correct dynamic, so I'm not going to debate the point.

Instead, I'll just say that a woman who is "together" likely requires minimal "leading" and might find the requirement a dealbreaker (and maybe you, too, would find a competent woman who appreciates mutual influence and consult but does not accept losing agency or unquestioning demurral to a mate's preferences as a relationship principle to be a no-go, too, in which case it's a mutual dead end). Just saying some women dislike the terminology (and any literal application of it), so if that's a requirement for you, maybe vetting that dynamic/set of values early could save some complications later, after attachments have formed.

In any case, sounds like a mutually frustrating situation, whether she knows that or is mainly just in drama mode/trying to patch up a flawed relationship.
