I haven't been a regular observer of this asshole since 2017, but I think I've seen enough to know just what type of person he is.
In a way, he's just like Destiny. Deep down, he doesn't have many passionate beliefs about politics, and he might actually say something based if he gets mad enough, but he knows that there is an EXTREMELY lucrative niche in attacking the e-right -- so much so, that NGO's and governments will actually give you money in some cases.

I think its interesting to note he claims the Ellison Future cop case is the most recent case of a writer winning a plagiarism suit when 4 years later Ellison would successfully settle James Cameron out of court after claiming The Terminator was a rip off of his Outer Limits episode "Soldier" . He either did this because A). it was settled out of court and therefore didn't count for his weirdly specific criteria and B). frankly Ellison was in the wrong in this case and greatly overstepping the bounds of what counts as plagiarism. Beyond the idea of both stories featuring two fighting men in the future being sent back in time to continue the fight the characters, plot, set pieces, dialog, and action are all completely different.
Also this is his example of someone more popular stealing an idea and getting more views:
Like this happens all the time im sure you could find a screen shot where the more popular guy ripping off actually has substantially more views.

this is my introduction to the guy, and I almost finished the video as it's quite interesting, but in the end I was ground down by how fucking insufferably smug he is. he also seems salty/quip-y about the 'type' of audience someone has (IH). i don't know if the jabs are meant to be funny? but it just comes off as insecure and petty. maybe he's just jealous that IH cultivated an audience that isn't holier than thou.

Not a bad video. didnt know that about internet historian, but I still like IH's videos. That being said, i didnt like how smug he was about IH taking down past videos and how smug he was that people were uploading his older videos.

As soon as he got to the IH bit, my first thought was "if you're gonna take a swing at the king, you'd better not miss". He's very much become an institution on YouTube. And to be fair, I'd say the punch landed, that was plagiarism.
But at the say time, it's a blatant hit against someone Harry disagrees with, in typical breadtube fashion. He deliberately conflates the extremist sections of IH's fans with his base in order to rile up his own turbo-SJW base. And I feel like he was deliberately trying to portray IH resolving the issue quietly without doing some bullshit flagellating apology as an attempt to cover up his misdeed. I mean, the guy he copied issued a copyright claim, the vid gets taken down, a few revisions later it comes back up and stays up. Clearly whatever issue the original author had with the video has been resolved.

I mean, they did, it was taken down because of the plagiarism and people noted as such months ago, this has never been anything actually hidden from view.
I can live with it as a fan of IH that it was a shitty thing to do but it was essentially rectified in the way you would expect it should be, he had to take down the video and change it so it was no longer plagiarizing the article, Harris is mostly just trying to trumpet this to damage someone who smells too right wing for his tastes so you have his fanbase going apeshit about it now and not 4 months ago.

I did feel like most of the new video was just him trying to take down others so he can be seen as a "good guy", even if most of the cases legit deserved the negative exposure
BUT
As a fan of IH i found his section to be overly-brutal and even got the impression that he is genuinely pissed over some ranking he got from JACKSFILMS
I mean yes, this was a very shitty thing from IH to do, but as far as im aware he didn't tried to make a shitty faked apology/responce video,and after the original video was taken down he actually DID something about it,changing as much as he could
And for fucks sake what if the general formating was stolen?, many of the exemples shown by bomber was i think were changed enough to be considered original(or at least more original then the other people's work in this video) and even then he still made high quailty visuals and voice acting to the entire thing which again the others in the video didn't really do.
