So having had a look over the pricing for sponsors i think there is something big going on there.
Firstly this event has been running for 12 years in 2015, so it started in 2003, so a long ass time (where was the money going before this?)
So the current sponsor packages are listed here:
https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/10022573738089796531 (a)
Legacy Recognition /Presenting Sponsors: $ 10000
Diamond Recognition: $ 8000
Platinum Recognition: $ 7500
Gold Recognition: $ 6500
Silver Recognition: $ 3000
Twosome Player: $ 1500
Single Player: $ 750
Event Supporter: $ 300
There is an older term that comes up in the pictures of the event dating back to 2016 of "Presenting Sponsor". But i cant find an earlier price list for the event. While I cant be sure how much the Presenting sponsor level costs, based on its positioning on the chart it is likely to cost more than Platinum so it is probably compatible to Legacy.
Additionally in 2016, there was a Dinner Sponsor, which was Monster Energy and a Cocktail Reception sponsor, which was Dr Pepper Snapple. This is likely to be two more paid levels. As well as Monster sponsoring "the hole in one" event / challenge for 5k. Pics below.

So from my preliminary look here is an estimated total of the events takings for 2015 onwards (photos come from
here (
a):
2015: There is no definitive list of what level who sponsored at but there is at least 8 big tent sponsors. Monster sponsored the putting challenge here for 5k. Based on later years its either platinum or gold for the other 8 as well (Photo above stating the 12th annual statement)
So being charitable to them I'm basing my take as Gold levels resulting in an approximate total of $57000.
This excludes all levels under that or event donors that didnt play or singles or doubles playing. Nor does it include raffle takings.
2016:
Presenting Sponsors: 2 (unclear if its the same as Legacy sponsors or not but likely more than Platinum due to placement)
Platinum Sponsors: 5
Silver Sponsors: 2
Event Sponsors: At least 7 listed on photo maybe more.
+ Another 5k from Monster for the hole in one /putting and them being the Dinner Sponsor + Snapple / DR. Pepper being the Cocktail reception sponsor. (photos above)
Event take: $68600 - $72600 Excluding raffle take (unclear if it happened) or money from Dinner / Cocktail sponsor money.
2017:
Diamond: 2
Platinum: 6
Silver: 3
Player Sponsor: 1
Event: 4
No photos of 5k from Monster this year so its been excluded.
Min Take: $7L950. Raffle took place but not included in total as its unclear how many tickets were sold.
2018:
First year of Indieland occurs this year. Not going to include figures from that but just wanted to comment that.
Min Take: $81000 + Monster paid for the cocktails! Raffle again this year but no clear numbers from it.
2019:
Harder to gauge this year as they didnt have a big sign like the last years.
However thanks to a Golf Cart and their pricing website (legacy lists Golf cart advertising as part of it. The others dont.)
Legacy: 5
Min take $50,000. Coke bought the lunch, Core Mark bought the drinks, Snapple and Monster bought dinner. Raffle again. And our favourite YouTuber made an appearance!
2020: Wu Flu. No Golf from PBD
2021:
YAY T
AX FRAUD PBD GOLF IS BACK!
Diamond: 2
Platinum: 1
Gold: 6
Titanium: 2 (gonna class this as double players as theyve had silver previously)
Single Player: 4
Coke bough lunch and drinks! and Core mark paid for Dinner and Drinks!
Min take: $68,500.
2022:
FUCK YOU this year PBD youre affecting my numbers. Titanium is not 2 player package as you will see in a second but they also have two different platinum packages?? Fuck the lot of you thieving cunts, I want you to go to prison. Monster and Pepsi paid for the Hole in one this year maybe thats the difference? but that means Coke paid for something extra that isnt shown in the photos.
ANYWAY:
Diamond: 2
Platinum (counted as 1 bundle): 4
Hospitality?: 1 (Higher than Titanium havent a clue on cost so wont include in the final figure)
Titanium: 3 (Still gonna include as 2 player, unless someone can find me a different pricing)
2 Player: 2
1 Player: 3
Min take: $57,750 + 5k for hole in one. Raffle held, still no numbers. and this is excluding the hospitality level cause i dont know what that would have cost.
2023!:
Free at last, Free at last! Should be the most straight forward one but it wont be.
Legacy: 3
Platinum: 1 - Monster are also listed as the hospitality sponsor so likely spent more
Gold: 2
Silver: 4
Player: 2
Min take: $64000 - Hospitality and raffle money not included.
TLDR: I was bored and worked out that the golf tournaments took somewhere in the region of $523,800 based on photo evidence.
To note as well all this money was due for the Open hands foundation since at least 2015. Based on the original videos the Org took in $720,000 before expenses since it was opened meaning that the organisation should have over 1 million in the bank not 600k.
