I looked into it, and I was right. The acronym EPI, in this case Early Porn Introuction/Indoctrination, has only been used by people into it as a fetish. I haven’t even found it on websites who are there to warn people about predators. So, we have a term that is and has only been used by pedophiles, and it keeps popping up.
The earliest use I have currently found is from 2021 4chan, on /b/. I found one use of the terms on AO3, also from 2021. I have not yet found the origin of the term EPI, leading me to believe that the most logical explanation for the spread of this very specific fetish is done via private chats, like Discord or other messaging services.
It also leads me to believe that if you see someone slyly talking about EPI, they are part of this theoretical group or have been in contact with this theoretical group. I could easily be wrong, but I think I’m onto something with my cabal theory so far.
But here’s where shit gets weird. This is not the first time in recent memory that a strange new porn addict/groomer term has appeared out of nowhere, and with no definitive origin. The term “goon”, as in what certain clowns do, is another case of a bizarre new term that’s used exclusively to refer to porn. @wlan0 did a deep dive into the word “goon” and came up with no definite start point or origin.

I've wondered: what's the origin of the term "gooner"? I can't find any natural evolution of the term, and the Urban Dictionary definitions are listed below (all of them proceed all of the early examples I can find):
