FB 9/7 - Reminder of creative prime

A year ago, Chris was in a "creative prime" in spite of the fact that he was still being required to attend court every so often because of the pepper-spray case. Wouldn't that have been more stressful for him than his life now?

He's just lazy and doesn't want to deal with the massive backlog of orders, including the obligation to make more Sonichu comics, that he built up while playing PS4 all day.

Chris was still selling things through Etsy until around May. Then the Donation listing was removed and his shop was closed soon after. I think there was already a backlog of orders then.

He said in that increasingly psychotic video ( June 11th) that the shop was just 'on vacation' for him to catch up with orders. He hoped that normal orders would be completed by the end of June and the books all sent out by mid-July. He also announced that the second branch of his shop will open 'soon' on Zazzle.

Point is, this all happened around three months ago. Not too long in the scheme of things. But Chris is already getting nostalgic and blaming trolls? Putting it in his 'history' lets him distance himself from his mistakes. What about this Facebook post from August 13th where he talks about the Etsy delays? He blames the supplier Lulu, feeling tired and having 'some' ADD? No mention of trolls there.

I imagine there are still outstanding orders. Are they just 'in your history' too? Do all of his problems just become the fault of trolls in hindsight? He found a way to successfully monetise his notoriety yet his relentless apathy caused him to let it lapse. I guess this is the classic frustration of watching Chris. He has seemingly learned nothing from what happened and acknowledges no fault of his own.

I know it's just an excuse to explain why he was too lazy to continue bothering with his Etsy store but it's still annoying to hear Chris complaining about being bullied by the trolls, considering this last year has actually been one of the ones where his trolling was at the lowest level.

Like others have pointed out, this year was one where he was given lots of money for doing nothing. Considering his fines and over spending, he'd have been in serious financial trouble without financial support from his 'trolls.'

It's been discussed before but Chris always blames everything else asides from himself because, for him if he accepts reality and that he's responsible for his own failures then he would fall apart. So I guess it's easier for him to blame stresses and trolls for him making a mess out of a genuinely attractive and comfortable money making idea because he was simply lazy, than it is to accept that and blame himself. It's the way Barb lived her life and he's been doing the exact same for as long as he could.

"Damn Internet Trolls and Bullies, buying my shit and giving me money for free ! It's because of you that my creativity was shut down !"

Yeah and totally not because he's a lazy impulsive spender with no sense of responsibility.

Also I can't help but laugh at how is "creative prime" was just one measly year spent churning out crappy medallions and amiibos for three times their real worth. That's something to be proud of alright.

Sad thing is that's probably the hardest he's ever worked in his entire life. Good thing his creative feelings got shut down, or Chris may have died from exhaustion.:story:
