Regarding the recent video:
I watched the whole thing and thought it was quite good. There were some dumb things, like him complaining about the term Breadtube (how about you just give a name to your social movement if you don't want other people to come up with one for you?) and other general faggotry. But in general, I think this video was very well made. I get that some people hate fags, and that's fine, you do you. But I think it is very internally consistent and reasonable from his perspective and stated positions as a person, for him to aggressively criticize someone who is scamming and defrauding a community he cares about. Even if you don't like that community (I don't, and couldn't give less of a shit about the queer community), it's admirable that he spent significant time and energy to remove someone as parasitic as James Somerton from that community.

The video was really well researched and was full of specific examples of plagiarism. It's sad to learn that plagiarism is so easy to get away with and so hard to prosecute. To be fair, I don't think he adequately takes into account how plagiarism has continued to be handled well in academia, and that you can reasonably predict plagiarism to be caught and punished in academia. It's just much quieter than a legal blowup, and also is where the majority of plagiarism has occurred up until the advent of the Internet and Youtube. It makes sense that our systems haven't caught up to the plagiarism occurring on these platforms that allow basically anyone to publish content. Up until recently if you wanted to publish something you had to go through many steps, like a publisher or film or music studio, and it's likely that plagiarism was often filtered before it could hit the market. So while it's sad that there are so many examples of rampant plagiarism, it makes sense that our systems haven't caught up to dealing with it yet. I think it's genuinely important that Hbomb put out a video like this, with so many specific examples, as I hope it will move us closer to a world where faggots like Jimmy James Somerton and the illuminaughty bitch are hanged for being nothing but leaches on society.

The argument internet historian is a Serial plagiarist it's very weak there's even an argument to say he did not play dries the article and that it was already settled 5 months ago however Hassan piker constantly plagiarizes other people's content and the worst plagiarist on YouTube is actually Sniper Wolf.

Frankly, I think the biggest problem is that there needs to be far more threads on breadtubers, there are some absolutely retarded breadtubers and breadtuber adjacent people who got threads far too late, Vaush being a classic example.

The breadtubers typically act like they're doing serious research or essays so it comes across as worse when those trying to act so full of themselves are really just reading wikipedia articles. In the case of the fun youtubers like Internet Historian or Count Dankula, I doubt many were really suspecting they do a lot of work looking into their subjects so much as a few google searches and then trying to be funny when talking about it.
