You cannot have Vice City without 80s culture. They are synonymous with one another. It's like having Red Dead not in the Wild West. It's possible, but it wouldn't feel the same.I just wanted Vice City feel again, not a current year Florida simulator![]()
Well in the classic series where you murder whores... Now you get to shoot niggers twerking ass bare on cars in middle of the day.Lotta black people in Vice City lmao
I guess, but I don't get why they are even revisiting Vice City. The whole point of Vice City was to parody Miami Vice, not modern day Florida. At least with RDR2, the setting is always going to be in the Wild West and they did the whole "the Wild West is being tamed" thing well. I don't really get the catch of this game. It's just GTA 5 but in Vice City. They could have set this game somewhere interesting like in Tokyo with the Yakuza or London with soccer hooligans. Give the series a new take on the whole criminal underworld/gangster theme.I thought rdr2 was a great single player experience even tho the gameplay could be way to slow, I'll wait till reviews and gameplay to reserve judgement. I didn't even think gta 5 was that great but the leaks for gta 6 showed some decent robbing mechanics.
What is wrong with having reservations for a product on its own terms based on what is presented to you? We're talking about a TRAILER for an upcoming, anticipated game. I even said my first impressions of the trailer were underwhelming because of the art direction. This is completely ignoring the "culture war" thing you said you hate, which is retarded considering that is exactly Rockstar is doing. People like you who give zero fucks and let them do whatever while throwing money at them is exactly how the industry has become so bad in the first place.
I'm willing to unironically agree with this.Truly GTA III was the last good GTA game
Ensuring they kill all hype and press for Max Payne, again, again.I don't get the point of this. This shit isn't even coming out for another two years, and the internet has an attention span of a week at most. What does releasing this trailer accomplish?
None of my friends understood why I was happy to see the Manchez return in Online. They had never heard of it.My generation of GTA player is truly dead. I guess I should just be grateful they threw in a Cheetah Classic while I still played.
we dont even know the story if it's woke shit, I"ll be right there saying cringe but this is just a teaser. And gta is known for satirizing american culture. edit I know you didn' mention woke this was me just generally responding to criticisim, who the fuck knows if its good or not it's two years away.I guess, but I don't get why they are even revisiting Vice City. Remedy is making the remakes for Max Payne 1+2. On that note, would they connect those remakes with their Control universe? There may be an intersect between Remedy fans and R* fans. Time will tell. Now the remakes will be doomed to the same fate. Any media R* posts will be flooded with "We want GTA VI!!" posts and demands R* forget about everything and focus on GTA (even if R* isn't even working on it; they're the publishers so to normies that's no different from being a developer.)
I already acknowledged that:Remedy is making the remakes for Max Payne 1+2.
They won't care. MP3 was being developed by R* Vancouver while V was developed by R* North; you think normies knew or cared?Any media R* posts will be flooded with "We want GTA VI!!" posts and demands R* forget about everything and focus on GTA (even if R* isn't even working on it; they're the publishers so to normies that's no different from being a developer.)
This is hardly unique to GTA anymore, hell even GTA4 when it come out wasn't unique in that regard. But what made it stand out so much was all the small little details added that went far beyond any game at the time. Websites, TV shows/commercials, "hidden" interiors, AI behavior, and so much more stood out fand STILL does to this day. This video by Crowbat really highlights the difference, but since you seemed to have been lurking this thread you may have already seen it.I enjoy the gameplay loop that the GTA genre brings to the table. You have the freedom to explore expertly crafted worlds in a sandbox environment. Walk, drive, fly, swim within the sandbox to cause mayhem, do side activities, or even just chill and observe your surroundings while the world around you goes about its business.
If anything there should of been more hispanic folks, but you can't deny there was an over abundance of nogs. Not saying there isn't any in Miami, but still it seemed excessive. It will die down eventually. From what I saw of this thread, almost nobody was talking about the potential monetization. The thread was flooded with repeat comments about the heavy concentration of Black people in a trailer for a game that hasn't even come out yet. That sort of discussion gets old, especially when talking about entertainment.
I strongly encourage you to pirate more. Especially from Rockstar and pretty much ALL triple A game developers. And FYI, I mainly buy my games on sale. Not that it's anything to boast about.

It's possible to judge it on the good and bad without blindly going into one direction.
What the fuck are you talking about, schizo?Imagine if a GTA game came out right as Rockstar started saying "You know what? Those ass-blasted parents have a point, we should strive to make a more child-inclusive main-series entry" And it started removing the naughty words, and strip clubs and guns from previous entries then began featuring gen Alpha dogshit like Skibidi toilet unironically?
Everyone and their mom knows what's about to happen. Its only destroyed franchise #97382 Somehow you don't see the writing on the wall.
God forbid you ever try and play GTA San Andreas. Good thing you were born after 2005, otherwise seeing the trailer for it would've made your head spin. There is a reason the trailer predominately features so many overweight and/or brown people. It's the same reason the last of Us 2's first trailer in 2017 was about Jewess lesbian kissess. In a word, it's not the existence of black people, it's the upfront worship of black culture. No, it's not going to be some 5D chess satire.
I'm pretty sure you play as the white dude and the woman, and do you avoid all games where you play as a woman?Seems to me GTA series went from acidic angry satire of our world to the "fun adventure". GTA VI looks like a generic crime story they will pump into your brain via VR sets in dystopia, 1$ for a dozen.
It is sad to see, but entropy is inevitable I guess.
Also I don't want to play as a woman.
Calm down kids! Can't deny it's visually amazing, but I think there is a solidly possible percentage chance that this game is gonna suck. Definitely not gonna be a day one purchase like so many other R* games have been.
Gonna wait at least several weeks if I buy it and only after seeing some video and getting the non propped up general consensus.
Didn't jump on Starfield and I don't regret it one bit. Don't think I'll ever play/put time into that game, and I was hyped AF when it was first announced. Everything I've heard and seen seems like a waste of my time now that it's actually out.
I don't think I'm going to buy any game day one or get excited for any of them pre release anymore. I even waited weeks for Elden Ring until I'd seen and heard enough to convince me it was worth buying, and I don't regret that at all, even though it's one of my favorite games of all time.
If a game is really good, I'll hear about it, and then see ample available video demonstrating evidence that indicates i will probably enjoy playing it.
I hope it's good but I have doubts.
This is the last I will think about GTA 6 until after it's released and I've seen people (not games journos) discussing it online and posting clips of the new game.
