i think geoff does love video games and just does what he needs to do to be able to get his hands on these previews, a big show like that's not cheap so getting whatever sponsors he can isn't wrong, whatever it may be, but acting like all those dogshit indie games "paid to be on the show" is just retarded

With all the talk of various iterations of Phil I think we all forgot about SemanticsSydePhil. He uses every little iota to argue why is is right and you are wrong. Oh man, I'm so excited for the BG3 stream. With all the coping and seething he did today, it's going to be amazing.

For anyone who doesn't BG3 is a huge and slow game. The combat is all done like D&D, so it can be frustrating with all the misses and tactics required (High ground advantage, dipping, and shoving are all really important to do). A lot of times you end up constantly reloading your saves so stop rng. You add that and the fact that so much comes down to dice rolls, Phil is gonna be absolutely pissed playing it. Plus, there's so many things that will fuck you over if you don't know about it and don't save/reload (For example, in act 2, if you follow what you're supposed to do and don't know what's coming, the shield around the town will likely fall and get rid of your save zone in the act).
Phil is already going into this with a bad attitude and it's going to amplify all of this. He certainly won't beat the game since it's a long game and he's got another fucking Like a Dragon game coming out in January along with the 89th time Persona 3 has been re-re-re-re-released to play and beat!
