I think airing it in real time is fine because it can mean help is quicker to come but why do it while SITTING ON YOUR ASS AND WAITING FOR MORE? Like wtf put the airtag in the nearest dumpster, call the cops then go to a hotel to ride it outLook how the woman freely posted 'lol btw the relationship was abusive' and then she continued posting about it even as his behavior was escalating (air tag incident, threatening texts). It cannot be overstated how dangerous it is to behave like this.
No one with a healthy brain and a perspective grounded in reality would do what she did. This is objective fact, I'm not victim blaming or saying she deserved it.

Reminds me of a Mexican singer who just went viral for saying all women want men who will go violent when they are in danger to protect their lives, so being a violent man isn't necessarily wrong. Some people accused him of sexism, toxic, yadayada... and then there was another viral video of a man trying to rob a couple and the boyfriend ran away. The actual robber said "man, wtf? how are you leaving your gf like this???".

I'm probably over-thinking this, but if you hide on an outdoor and exposed balcony, couldn't the shooter at the front door just run around the building and have a clear shot? Did he think they'd run out the front door as he was doubling back or something? I understand the need to hide (run-hide-fight and all that), but this feels like a way to put yourself into more danger?
