Plus they did outright lie when they stated that they already were donating. The "waiting for the right amount" is on the same level as their other excuse of "waiting for the right place to donate to"

There are two main issues here: Withholding funds they promised to donate, and then misappropriation of funds.
Sounds like Jirard and co are ready to go to war on the second one, and are being oblique about the first one.
Wondering how the law would interpret their actions about the first one.

isn't the only possible legal action suing for defamation.
they've have to prove that they knowlingly lied to hurt their image or damage them in some way, i don't think that can be done considering how fucky and shady their tax records were for what was supposed to be a chairty which needs to be transparent.
also he did in fact not donate the money to the charities he claimed to for years, until he was backed into a wall.
