That's it. I am making a YouTube channel called "Antidubbbz" to prove that he doesn't understand his previous fanbase or current reputation. I will literally to proclaim to be the 2nd coming of iDubbbz for the sake of defeating this cuck once and for all. Mark my words.
He doesn't even really have a current reputation. The apology video didn't do anything for him except give him a bunch of temporary support and distract people from the Tyler drama. He has over 7 million subs but he consistently only pulls >500k on his recent videos (the only exception to this is drama videos that are naturally going to get more views.)

I think he was invited but Max got offended by the "scheduling conflict". If he wasn't invited then I really can't picture Max keeping quiet about Ian blatantly lying. But he decided to rub salt in the wound after he realised why Ian couldn't attend, which does lead more credence to the tattoo theory. If it was a real excuse then surely Max would defend Ian?the more time passes, the more I have the feeling max really didn't invite Ian to his wedding. maybe he likes Ian enough to meet up with him and maybe even record a cold ones episode with him, but seeing how small the wedding seemed to be and his choice of words ('best day a the best people' and never once mentioning or defending Ian, despite his comments blowing up with questions about him) is very telling

Isn't he overly sensitive over issues calling him a goblin by Sam Hyde or his wife being a whore? His whole career is dishing out roasts on people; however, he cannot take them. Idubbbz being on SSRIs and with an iota of a demeaning insult made him sob unrelentingly and painfully cathartic. If you were going to make an Antidubbz YouTube channel, you would need a fanbase that would take you seriously and place you on the same pedestal as the original iDubbbz. Proof of his old fans is across YouTube and other social media. I would say in the current landscape of YouTube, you would need to make your content mature. But not in the iDubbbz sense [i.e., playing with toys, twittersque political takes, boring or corporate Photoshop videos, etc.], mature where adults spend time on and converse with [i.e., Literature, philosophy, architecture, etc.]. Being an antidubbz YouTube Channel would be somewhat successful, but I digress.
It was for a while. I harp on the apology video so much because I see it as Ian completely admitting defeat as far as that side of his content goes. If he continued to make exposés and documentaries he would've been shit on (and, more importantly, Anissa would've been shit on) and he can't handle that. That's probably why it came out right after the Froggy Fresh drama was still going on, so Ian could very quickly pivot public discourse away from something that made him look shitty.
This is the other issue with Ian's current content. It's not mature because it doesn't make you think, it doesn't bring any new ideas to the table, it's at best just Ian pointing to some random thing and then describing it in the most uninteresting way possible and it's at worst just him staring lifelessly at the camera talking about fucking cheez-its. If I had to pick a word to describe Ian's content it would be "mild", it's so inoffensive and lame it's barely even worth talking about in this very thread. It takes up space that could be used for talking about Anissa's newest cope on social media. I feel like that's kind of the funniest thing about all of this. In the process of trying to be more mature and conform to fit the standards of Current Year™ Ian has switched to making content that makes his old EVIL BIGOTED BULLY VIDEOS look like high brow art, because at least those felt like they had soul put into them. Hell, old Ian made videos like this that were just him rambling, but those were good because he actually tried to make them funny and original. It's easy to just say it's Anissa sucking his soul away and while that's part of it, it genuinely feels like he's terrified of doing anything that would paint him in a bad light.
