“I had nothing to do with the golf charity, other than be physically present, swing a few rounds, get photographed, and give a speech!”
Holy shit I watched this again and the dude is straight up gaslighting
"The golf event hasn't always contained a charitable component"
But the event has claimed to since at least 2011.
"Expenses for the golf tournament are a heckin lot, like craft and catering services"
Yeah, craft and catering services that are typically covered by your sponsors.
2021

2019

(These are only two examples but these signs appear most years).
In fact, it's amusing that he tries to play the victim by bringing up the expenses for the golf cup and Indieland, considering Indieland also has expenses covered by sponsors. Before the call with SOG and Karl, Jirard would claim that expenses not covered by sponsors would come out of his own pocket.
But as we know, Jirard later claimed that funds raised by Indieland were used to pay for expenses (with him claiming that it was only a "few thousand").
Not to mention, for the PBD Cup, sponsors would also cover the prize money for the hole in one contest, raffle prizes, and auction items.
2014
2016
2015

2018 (notice the signs say "donated by")

It ultimately calls into question how much they pay in expenses themselves.
"Covid led to smaller attendance in 2020 and 2021"
Which would only affect raffle ticket and auction sales. Sponsors still paid thousands of dollars to sponsor the event (and there were plenty of sponsors in 2021 and 2022).
"I only attended the event and spoke a few times"
Yeah, the event held by your father for his company that's housed in the same building as yours. The company that your brother, the COO of your company and your "money man", has a prominent position in. For the charity that you and your family run.

Also it's not like
@SaidNoOneEver pointed out that they marked the expenses for their golf tournament in 2022 in the original Completionist thread.

Aw shit, whoops, they did. So they spent 5,236 dollars in expenses for the 2022 PBD Convenience Cup.
For reference, let's calculate an estimate of how much the PBD Cup earned in 2022.

We have 2 diamond sponsorships, 3 platinum premiere sponsorships (which are probably worth more but I will count as platinum sponsorships), 1 platinum sponsorship, 3 titanium sponsorships (which are probably equivalent to silver sponsorships based on titanium sponsorships being more than twosome and single player sponsorships but less than platinum), 2 twosome player sponsorships, and 3 player sponsorships.
So that's 2(8,000) + 4(7,500) + 3(3,000) + 2(1,500) + 3(750) = 60,250.
This is probably an underestimate considering we don't know how much titanium and premiere platinum sponsorships are worth (they could be worth more). The point is, the amount they possibly earned, 60,250, is way more than how much they paid in expenses, 5,236 (They probably earned more too, because this isn't factoring the amount earned from raffle ticket sales, auction money, and money earned from contests like the hole in one contest. If they're willing to use charity funds from IndieLand to cover expenses, then I wouldn't be surprised that they use charity funds from the Convenience Cup to cover expenses as well.
