Unfortunately, the bug (and dirt) eating has been confirmed; they ate them at the BLMatsu meet in front of other people. Probably in front of strangers at the public park they met up at... I can only imagine the horror of walking your dog only to see a zoophile shovelling dirt into their open maw in the middle of the day lmao.
