If Boogie actually wanted to crush the debt, he would get a job and sell off a lot of the things in his house. He has the path to fixing this in less than year laid out in front of him and he's just refusing. There are people in signficiantly worse debt who would kill just to be in the position ol' Stevie is in where he just has to work as a janitor for a couple months and sell his shit.
