This does certainly impact the local population when there's mass movement into a new region and it's something that a lot of people in small town Montana, for example, have been experiencing for a very long time. Remote work becoming commonplace combined with insane state and city government coof mandates has put people in flight to these low cost red states all over the country. Cost of living DOES go up. However, this mostly impacts people who rent or are new home buyers since the demand for housing is so high. Boogie has a fixed pre-pandemic mortgage. He thinks his house can sell for half a mil. Idk AK real estate, but I really wouldn't be surprised if that's accurate in this market. 2.1k or whatever he whines about on a 15 year mortgage is un-fucking heard of anywhere in the country worth living right now. Let alone a house like his which is pretty nice. The solutions are so simple. If you've got people living under your roof, MAKE THEM PAY. Rent is so fucking insane these days, letting someone live with you because they mow your lawn and cook sometimes is clearly nowhere near a fair exchange. He's got 4 people living in his house? Everyone pays $500 and it's pretty much covered, and that's still such a good deal for the tenants in this economy.

Then cut the fast food and eat your daily 10,000 calories from the grocery store. That’s funny considering breeders make shit money. Think about all the genetic testing and vet visits you have to do if you want to do it properly and ethically.
