Reading the article, I really wish he would cite or link to posts. He won't because that would completely discredit what he's saying, but it is possible to reverse-engineer some of his claims. In particular, I find it curious that he cites the "buckshot" comment. Searching the thread, the only post I can find which brings up that exact term does match the context he presents it in, somewhat. In it, a person references the makeup gun from the Simpsons and another person, quoting that post, edits the original post so that it states that the makeup gun can only improve Elliot's appearance if it's loaded with that ammunition. Elliot just chooses to represent that as a direct threat on his safety rather than just a vulgar insult of his appearance, although it's funny knowing he's taking these posts calling him ugly to heart since he brings it up in the article.

I'm not sitting here playing forensic analyst, but that's an awfully specific post. It's on a page with no notable posts, is an edit of a quote, and comes from a completely innocuous user. As amusing as it is to imagine Elliot reading every single post in this thread and seething about it, he's most likely skimming it at best. This makes me heavily suspect that whenever he feels like referencing some post within his thread, he does a search looking for specific terms or phrases which can be construed as violent. He most likely enters queries like "burn" or "rape" while also trying more secondary or descriptive words which would be used in more violent sentences, such as naming a type of ammunition one would use in a gun, "buckshot," or giving a term somebody would use when discussing sexual assault, like "molest."

His claims people said they wanted to rape him is beyond me, though. One of the most common posts beyond calling him a rapist is users explicitly stating they would not have sexual contact with him. I'm going to assume somebody said they hoped Elliot gets a taste of his own medicine in allusion to his "consent accident" and Elliot chose to interpret that as that user stating they wish to be the perpetrator somehow, but it's difficult to pinpoint an exact post when there's hundreds just calling Elliot a rapist directly that obscures any word search.

Anyway, the key takeaways are that Elliot is definitely looking at every image making fun of him since he's speedreading these posts, and is searching for violent terms and thus is more likely to read any post mocking him if these key terms are just inserted in randomly like how people would abuse tags on mid 2010's Youtube video descriptions. It's appropriate, given at this moment, I suspect he's trying to use a similar tactic to hide the thread. Assuming he's aware that constantly bringing up his thread on Kiwi Farms only makes people seek it out, he may see that as an acceptable cost for trying to flood SEO with news articles to bury the direct links to his thread. Basically, he may just be trying to get his name and "Kiwi Farms" link to the dozens upon dozens of glorified blog posts so that his thread gets banished to the dreaded second page of Google search results.
